What a great start to our vacation in PEC. Shout out to Morgan for giving us recommendations on what to do while in the area. And Mitchell was great -- took fabulous care of us. Loved the guac/chips for an appetizer and the chicken dish was my favorite of the main courses we tried. Live music just made this dining experience a fantastic experience.

Great place for a break from the city life. Wide selection of beers and great menu. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Definitely make sure to grab a flight and the asado carne. Could have skipped out on the burger.

I did not know what to expect! We went WOW when we drove in Parson's Brewing. The open set up with that huge open area! This is more than a brewery. I would do a pit stop every time from now on when I visit PEC! Mexican food and Bar. I just could not say NO to that! They have a good selection of beer on tap: their own that were brewed on site and guest taps. The patio... I am just speechless. I can just chill and drink beer that the whole day. Even the taproom area inside is pretty nicely set up. Family friendly, Dog friendly and Beer Lover friendly. One of the best stops at Prince Edward County!

as my Daughter says, "All the stars! Great food, great service, great play set, big space" Mom and dad agree (one amendment to their review, great beer, environment, dog friendly, and overall vibe)

It was a last minute decision to come to Parson's Brewing for lunch because they have a pet friendly patio. We lucked out cos they are having an Ocktoberfest live music fund raising event. Tried two different beer - a classic German Hefeweizen and the coffee stout. Enjoyed both, the coffee stout certainly carry a punch of aromatic coffee. My partner and I also shared bradwurst, schnitzel and butter chicken empanadas for food. All the food was pretty decent. The live music at the beer hall was fun and the nice patio with mid autumn sun just created the most relaxing ambiance for a very enjoyable afternoon. Will certainly come back in the future.

After a weekend of a lot of eating and drinking this our last and unplanned stop was at Parson's. The servers were great at helping to navigate the selection of beers, and i discovers several styles I would not have selected on my own that are now go-to's. Specifically the Crushable Pilsner and Mousetrap Rye Pale Ale. While we did not have a full meal but what we did have was well made and tasty (soft german pretzels and curried empanadas).

Swung by last year and was so busy looking scared us away. Made a plan to come again this year and wow glad we did! The line to get in lives along quite quickly and the staff keeps you happy while you wait. And once you're in - boom! Craft beer, awesome food, super friendly and attentive staff which leads to a super experience had by all. Definitely will come again. Just wish we didn't live 3 hours away so could come more often. If you're not close, make the trip it's well worth it!

Great beer tastings. Huge selection of crafted beer. Great food options to take this beer down. A great stop over lunch.

We popped by here just before closing at 6 pm. We didn't realize they were closing and we're just casually walking around. Staff were great about letting us know that they were closing up and we should get our orders in if we wanted anything. We had just finished a big lunch so we weren't very hungry. We did have a flight of beer that was quite nice. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing though and I wished we had stopped here for lunch instead. Laidback ambience and fun things for the kids to play with and run around.

Summary: Great beer but skip the food. We had their tasting flight - really liked the hefeweizen and Japanese inspired beer (rinda rinda). Tried an interesting saison that we enjoyed but likely couldn't drink a whole pint of it. The food is over-priced and mediocre at best. We had the guac and chips. The avocado was unripe, as evidenced by chunks that we couldn't even cut through. As a result the guac was pretty dry and not creamy. We also had the elotes corn - they were too lazy to spread the seasoning across the cob so only one side was seasoned. The atmosphere is great - nice patio with picnic tables and umbrellas, a playground for kids, and live music on a Sunday afternoon! The service was okay but clearly still green. The explanation of the flight was confusing - first we were told it was preset but after asking a few more questions learned we could pick our own. Later, we were still drinking and eating when we were asked if they could clear any dishes.

I'm not a beer expert, but the vibe of this place is 100% for me. The wooden barn mixed with hipster details and Mexican inspired menu - I want to live here. It was a chilly fall day but I imagine in summer there people outside playing all those games they have set up (horseshoes, bean bag toss, ping pong) and maybe even a fire in the pit. I tried a flight of beers and enjoyed them, even took a few home. The VW they had out front was cool too. Great photo op.

Beers were: Fast Eddie light, Blond, Cream ale & So many friends here. Flights are a great way to try a selection of beers. I loved the dark brew...but I love full bodied beers. The brewery has food which is awesome. Arvy's Street eats serves a variety of tacos. Since I won't be back I tried them all. I got the Birria tacos, the tandoori chicken and the Chana Masala tostado. The food was amazing. I think my favourite was the Chana Masala Tostado. The spice level and flavours was on point! After a long hike this morning this was definitely worth the atop

Prince Eddy's is a great spot just off the main streets of Picton that serves some great beer. There's plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to keep you cool. There's a purpose-built stage for live performances. There's a current (?pop-up) resto called Slight Peppa that serves some Caribbean fusion snacks and dishes [I didn't get a chance to try this but it smelled pretty good!]. And of course, did I mention the beach volleyball court?! And now onto the beer! Obviously, not having tried everything they offered, I don't want to over-generalize, but the beers I had all trended towards light and refreshing, instead of heavy and strong in flavours. So basically, great summer beers. And great labels (I'm a sucker for good design)! Chiller Instinct (Dry Hopped Sour): I've always been a bit suspect of beers trying to do too much, but because most of the flavours are subtle, I found this worked really well, and may have been my fave! C.R.E.A.M. Ale: Smooth and a bit sweet. So Many Friends (Session NE IPA): A crisp IPA with a citrusy and floral flavours. I've never seen their stuff in the LCBO, but hopefully they'll make it big enough to get there. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to order directly from them.

Luckily I found Littlejohn Farm offers wine tours via a Google search. I sent an email via their website and Luhana contacted me in response within a few minutes. She was so lovely via our email conversations and super accommodating (we wanted to go and visit a brewery instead of one of the wineries and we also had a few food related restrictions for some of the girls in our group). She picked us up at our AirBnB rental in Brighton, ON (far from her farm!) and drove us around all day in a nice SUV with plenty of air conditioning, room, and water. We stopped at Hillier Winery, Traynor Wines, Hinterland Wines, the Prince Edward Lavender farm (where we had an incredible picnic - more on that later!), Clauson Chase winery, then finally Midtown Brewing as our last stop. Luhana waited for us patiently at each place and never made us feel rushed. Luhana prepared us the most epic picnic lunch I have ever seen - we were totally spoiled!! She made fresh salads with gardens from her farm, local award winning cheeses, local charcuterie, home made sauces, fresh baguette, along with pickles made at her farm. It was absolutely heavenly!! We also had an opportunity to chat with Luhana as she shared the story of how her and her husband came to own Littlejohn Farm. We had an unforgettable day and cannot thank Luhana enough.
