This beach is a real gem. Not a lot of people, including Sydney-siders, know of its existence so its never really packed, even in summer. This is essentially a family friendly beach so if you looking to show off your tiny bikini or flex your muscles Jersey Shore style, then this beach ain't for you!
My friend introduced me to this beach as a place to have a quiet swim and laze about without being disturbed by hordes of people. The water is really calm so its great for kids as well. There is a small boardwalk which leads onto the suspension bridge if so inclined. i prefer to just laze about with a few friends and take a dip in-between. Sweet.
Due to its location, its best to get here by car. There is a small car park or you can street-park up the road. There isn't much around so its best to pack a picnic lunch, otherwise you can drive up to Nielson Park or into Vaucluse for something more substantial.
Love this little secret part of Sydney. Shhhh! :) read more
