House turned out pretty nice but with humidity problems and concrete cracks in garage and cellar.

We couldn't even get the project off the ground. We own our land. We had talked about home design, floor plans and budget. We asked to meet in person rather than virtual. We wanted to see the show room, look at the quality of materials before we finished the contract. That's where things went sideways. We were asked to explain our request. It just go weird. Then we got ghosted. We didn't think that was an odd request. We just wanted to see the quality of the materials included in the base cost. To get an idea if what we wanted was an upgrade. We spent 7ish months customizing and preparing for our hime build while in contract. It was not a good experience and weeks before breaking ground, they dropped us as a customer, breaking the contract and leaving us without our plans and out a lot of money for our land prep. They basically dear Johned us with a gaslighting letter and ghosted us. Honestly it was a blessing because the next builder we met with is way better and we are building our dream home. read more

No consideration for the neighbors around their new construction. They are building a house in the lot next to mine and have been awful to deal with. They cut down a bush on my property without permission. They parked their truck partially on my lawn and left deep tire tracks, and have been continuing construction well into the night keeping our baby awake with the noise. Do not hire if you want a good relationship with your new neighbors. read more

The Parry marketing team needs a dose of the Dale Carnegie training program. They took forever to return a call following my outreach via e-mail and numerous calls. When Ashley did call, she made it very clear that any criticism of her marketing skills was not acceptable. I also mentioned that I was surprised that home designs were not available on their website; I was now told that I was criticizing their website and they would not be able to work with me. read more

I have contacted Parry Customer homes (Ashley) back on June 6th,2018 asking for an appointment and because lack of availability of a representative we confirmed that we will be meeting on June 20th,2018 at 5:30pm EST. I have to make advance arrangements to get off work earlier and open up my schedule to accommodate their schedule. I also took the initiative to reconfirm the appointment or I would have been driving all the way to find out that no one is available at your showroom. When I email them on the day of the appointment I got a reply back around noon that there is a scheduling conflict and they are cancelling my appointment without an option to move the appointment in earlier hour or later hours. Later I was emailed that If I like I can book the appointment on any other day . How can their be scheduling conflict when the appointment was done 2 weeks in advance and discussed in detail and why I was not informed well in advance of a scheduling conflict till I contacted them or would have been standing outside their showroom. If they can't accommodate a prospective customer on more then 2 weeks advance notice and also don't inform them of schedule change unless the customer checks back on the day of the appointment I am not sure how the service would be in the future if we decide to proceed with them. read more

Address on google takes you to wrong location. Called and got correct location, but other office did not mention it is NOT actually on Route 19. It's in a plaza off Brandt road. Signage is very poor from road. Easily missed. Same Plaza as Montecello pizza. Also confirmed office hours before going and they assured me someone is there even if I did not have an appointment. But they would not call the Cranberry office for me, they said "someone is there until 4 pm". Finally get there more than 45 minutes before closing (only open 10-4 pm and some days 12-4). The office was closed. No sign on door that they closed early or will be back. All dark, lights off, door locked. Also, they do not have a direct phone to this office. Tried the number on the Internet/google, but went to a fax machine. Called them back at the other office and they "don't know." The same person now tried to tell me that most people make appointments - even after telling me I didn't need an appt earlier. Total waste of my time - total 1 hr 40 min wasted driving around and calling them. And completely unprofessional not to staff a location for posted hours. If they want appt only, then remove posted hours on website and say "appt only. " And get a telephone number for the location to make an appt. Instead having to call another location, and "give us your information and someone will call you back" Total waste. Unprofessional. Use someone else. read more

Susie was fantastic to work with throughout the entire design process. Any questions that we had were answered promptly and thoroughly(even during non-business hours). On several occasions she stayed late to accommodate meeting with us after work. She made the process incredibly easy and enjoyable. Amy was also great to work with during the selections process, and Ben, Chris, and AJ were top notch during the lot inspection. Overall Parry was fantastic to work with, and we would be quick to recommend them to friends and family. read more

Parry Custom Homes Folks built our new home in Cranberry Twp. four years ago and it was a tremendous experience for us. I see one reviewer had difficulty connecting with the Cranberry Twp. showroom site and I regret he had that experience. I cannot comment on that other than to say it was unfortunate, but having experienced the quality, care, common sense and high-level business-integrity of this team, I could not help but go on record to say that this is an excellent builder. IWe know another family whose praise for PARRY Custom Homes is equally as enthusiastic, after Parry finished their new home last year. Parry does such good work that they may be experiencing growing pains, in fact, as they have expanded from an Irwin-based site to three showroom sites in just a few years, with Cranberry being their latest addition. They seem not to lack for business. I know Cranberry Twp. has strict building standards and I also know that when the final inspection report was given so we could move in, the Cranberry official commended Parry on exceeding the standards they enforce, rather than just barely meeting them or arguing for little exceptions or variances. The commendation given to our Parry rep was that, "You can come build houses here ANYTIME." Having lived in our new home for almost four years, we are just as happy with the result as we were when we first moved in and everything was shiny and new. It still looks that way, read more
