I just bought an RV sight unseen from Casey at Parris RV. He lied to me about several things about the trailer.

Part of that, my aunt sent me home with a camper trailer which hadn't moved in several years. I was a taking the much-more scenic route home via Moab, and knew I needed to have water in the trailer. While at the Springdale KOA, I was attempting to fill the tank but noticed water immediately coming out the bottom. New to trailers, traveling solo, and knowing I needed water, I was frantic to find a fix. I found Abney on Maps, and called to see if I could stop by. The gentleman (I forget his name) was super nice, professional, said to come on by and he'd take a look. I had no idea if this would be an hour or a day. He was only 15min away, the shop is tucked away but easy to find with navigation. When I pulled up, he stepped outside to greet me. I re-explained the situation, he said he'd be right back... He came back with a simple lever valve, screwed it in, and said I was good to go. I asked how much? He said "don't worry about it, it's a $2 part and it'll cost me more to write it up." WHAT?! During what was already a stressful situation, this *quick* visit was a God-send!! I would have paid $100 to make sure I was able to carry water into the desert, which he agreed was a necessity lol. If this is any indication of Abney's work, by all means, GO HERE! Thanks again for being so giving and getting me on my way. Buying a home, with wheels or without, means you, or a business you trust, needs to do all the work…read moreto get your house back up to snuff. When I first bought my RV a year ago, the folks at Omega mentioned a few things that could/should be checked when they came out to look at my fan, but I really coildn't afford it then. Last summer it started raining on my couch. Yikes! Omega Mobile RV to the rescue and then some! They came out to look at the roof, and then gave my whole house a complete looking at like they wanted to do the first time. It was worth the visit to have a list of things that needed repair alone. The roof was in need of more that just a leak repair, it needed a whole new roof. Sure, the price scared me, but it was going to be inexpensive compared to a roof on a stationary house! Over the course of more than a week, they were up there removing damaged parts of the roof, cleaning and repairing stuff that could not wait, and then laying out a brand new roof with the RV specific roofing materials that would last. The transformation was amazing. And they finished just in time before the rains showed up! The water stayed OUTSIDE where it's supposed to be. Speaking of water, my bathroom had a leak, one I couldn't fix or figure out. It turned out that the big box RV place that had installed my toilet new shortly before I bought the RV, had damaged parts of the plumbing causing the leak in the first place. Omega Mobile RV very carefully repaired and replaced parts that they had quoted me a price on and did a fabulous job, and it turned out they fixed it quicker and for less than the estimate they gave me. They checked EVERYTHING!!! What a fantastic job they did!!! I'll be forever grateful for all their hard work!!! Speaking of hard work, one of my other ceiling fans had stopped working, and once again instead of buying a completely new fan, they ordered the parts to be able to test and repair the fan like they did for the first one, and saved me a fortune instead of insisting on a completely new fan like the big box place said would be required. Omega Mobile even showed me what they were doing so that if it happened again, I'd be able to fix it myself!!! The other major repair was my fridge/freezer!!! That also failed during the sumner, and Omega was able to source the parts to properly repair my fridge/freezer and get that working properly! Again for less than the big box RV place said it would cost! Best part, it was also less expensive than they had quoted me, again, thrilling me to no end. It felt like weeks of work, all the large and small things that needed to be repaired replaced, but every step of the way, they provided me with a careful up front estimate on parts and labor and gave me options in terms of how best to get it done, and they were completely honest and upfront about the costs. The best part was when the cost was less than their original quote because they were able to save me money. They got so much work done! My heater still needs service/repair but since I'm usually avoiding going places that cause me to need heat, I'm saving to have Omega Mobile RV Repair put in a new more efficient solar airconditioner!!! At this point Omega is my first and only call when my RV needs work. I love the fact that they are so careful and transparent about costs, and what a fantastic job they did on all the little things that make my home more livable!!! It's well worth the time and money I spent to have them carefully evaluate the things that needed repair and then provided me with an estmate so there were no suprises (except good ones) when it came time to get the work done. Would I call them again? Oh very much so!!!

1-Star Review - Omega Mobile RV Repair…read more I had Omega Mobile RV Repair come out to diagnose a water leak in my RV. I was charged both a service call fee and a diagnostic fee. During the visit, the technician spent a limited amount of time inspecting the issue and suggested that the leak was likely due to aging seals around the slides and windows. However, they were not able to confirm the exact source of the leak. I did receive a follow-up estimate, but I was ultimately advised to take the RV elsewhere for the repair. After the visit, I continued investigating the issue myself and found that the leak was actually coming from a bolt attachment on the slide awning--something that was not identified during their inspection. Based on my experience, I did not feel that the issue was thoroughly diagnosed despite being charged a diagnostic fee. I was also left unclear on why a service call was performed if the repair would not be completed. I will not be using their services again.

This means…read morethat it has a mid-travel suspension system on it (Autofab), and it employs six 'RaceRunner' (by Sway-A-Way) off road racing shock absorbers...all 2.5" diameter with remote nitrogen reservoirs. Recently it was suggested to me that I should get my shocks rebuilt. I had considered doing this in recent years as a the ride has always been extra stiff with little to no compliance. In fact washboard and rough off road sections are extremely uncomfortable at any speed except REAL slow! I could have sworn I lost a filling or two over the last 7 years due to the rough ride. :-) I heard that there was a shock tuning company here in Utah, and after a quick Google search, I ultimately found Matt Bell, the owner of Desert Speed Shock Tuning, located in Santaquin, Utah. After a few phone conversations, I set up an initial date for him to take my Bronco to his shop and rebuild all six shocks. Just two weeks ago he performed the rebuilds and some initial valving adjustments, and then delivered the Bronco back to me at 5-Mile Pass. After some initial testing, the difference was night and day! Finally a softer ride that was much more compliant, subtle, and controllable over the rough stuff at high speeds. During that first tuning session on the 14th of July, Matt took my feedback, rode in the bronco himself, and even videoed the suspension over some rougher sections (using his GoPro camera.) Matt then had a plan for re-valving the shocks at a second tuning session...and we agreed to meet again for some final tuning. That second tuning session just took place this last Friday, the 28th of July. Right there in the field, Matt ended up re-valving the rear shocks twice, and each of the front two shocks (2 per side) once...using multiple test runs over both smooth and rough sections of a local road west of Santaquin as real-time feedback. The final result was a much softer and controlled ride that really allowed me to drive the heavy Bronco faster over the rough stuff. Ultimately I'm very happy with the results...and for those that have re-buildable shocks on their trucks, jeeps, buggies, quads, SxS, or motorcycles...do yourself a favor and get them rebuilt and tuned ASAP! It will be the best money you every spent! Thanks Matt!

I booked a boat repair appointment and clearly explained the issue over the phone. I was told confidently, "Yes, we handle this type of repair all the time." They explained the pricing as follows: $75 deposit to confirm the visit, and a $175 flat fee for the first diagnostic hour -- which would only be charged if no repair was done. If a repair proceeded, that $175 would be fully applied to the repair cost. I paid the deposit and scheduled the visit in good faith. At the appointment, the mechanic -- Tyler, who also identified himself as the co-owner and said his father Jeff was his partner -- showed up clearly inexperienced. Per his own words, he had been fired on the spot from his previous mechanic job. He had no idea how to diagnose the issue. Instead, he fumbled around, calling friends and his dad, and flipping through the manual. This, after I was assured over the phone that they were qualified for this exact issue. When I asked what was going on, Tyler admitted: "I can't figure it out. I'll refund you the $75 because I can't fix it." But he didn't just fail -- he left my boat in worse condition than when he arrived, with tampered and potentially damaged electrical systems. I'm now considering legal action for financial loss and emotional stress. Then came the final insult: they sent me a $750 invoice -- despite Tyler's clear promise not to charge me and to refund the deposit. I followed up and spoke with him again. He told me he'd "have accounting reach out to fix it," but no one ever followed up. After more ignored calls, I finally reached someone by phone -- whom I believe was Jeff, based on what Tyler told me (that Jeff is his father and co-owner). That person told me they would take me to court if I didn't pay. This company misrepresented their capabilities, broke their word, possibly damaged my boat, and tried to bill me for hundreds of dollars after delivering no legitimate service. Stay far away from this business. What I experienced wasn't just incompetence -- it was deceptive, disorganized, and potentially predatory.
