But the dough is certainly tough and kinda hard. Nice parking lot out front. There's also a drive thru. Went on a late Saturday. Shop was empty but there was drive thru customers. Had to wait a bit to place our order. There are so many flavor options and the best part is whenever you are there they can make what you'd like. They gave the standard donuts which are large and minis. I am not the donut lover my husband is, but after eating these donuts I may become one. The display of donuts was pretty, and the atmosphere is inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. I only ate the chocolate peanut butter donut, and it was sheer yumminess. Light donut with gooey chocolate and just a wisp of peanut butter. If anything, I would add more peanut butter as you couldn't really taste it. They can be vegan keto gluten-free, and so moist.. we opted to get four donuts and then share maximizing our flavors and experience. we got one carnival one coconut cream, one that resembled French toast that resembled a cinnamon roll. Let me tell you it was pretty hard to decide which the most. I loved the ambience a lot. The whole donut shop was decorated pre Ww1 style. The chairs were old the fixtures were old but the tile and the look was modern, fresh new and gorgeous. I was astounded to know that each donut only cost three dollars. Wow! I am addicted to donuts. Virtually everywhere I go (I have been in in 48 States and dozens of countries) and the donuts here are absolutely amazingly delicious! They melt in your mouth and are large. There are lots of different types and flavors. At $3+ they are a bit more expensive than you might expect to pay in an area that is not touristy. When we got our coffees and asked which was the mocha she didn't seem to know what a mocha was. One person in our group went up to order another coffee and no one came to the register for a few minutes to help. Umm. Freaking delicious. I'm kinda picky with my donuts, but these are absolutely amazing. I LOVE the texture, and it's just the right balance of sweetness for the dough. So far I've tried the Coconut Cream Filled and the Bourbon Caramel. Both are yummy. The coffee isn't bad either. I love the vintage Americana decor too. So fun. Employees have been friendly and offered recommendations. I feel like the price point is good. It's about $3 for a donut and they're pretty good size. Coffee and food are comparably priced. My only complaint so far is just that they could probably clean the tables a bit more regularly. And there's a bit of a fly problem, probably because of all the sugary crumbs. read more

Service also 5 stars, they were very kind and informative with catering to my gluten free needs, including what type of flour and oil is used. While the doughnut and toppings had good flavor, unfortunately, it's really not a doughnut; it's a short, mini bundt cake. I appreciated that I could customize my "doughnut" with the majority of the other toppings from various other gluten-full doughnuts--ie, I got 2 gluten free doughnuts, 1 with the Sandy Beach toppings and 1 with Bourbon Caramel toppings (which the bourbon caramel itself is INCREDIBLE). Other places there is a limited/minimal option of flavors/toppings. However, there is no option of picking it up with your hands like a normal, fried doughnut. It's baked and must be eaten with a fork due to its tenderness. Unfortunately, looking for a yummy gluten free doughnut, the flavor was a win but the form/texture was disappointing for me. read more

These "donuts" are really more of a sweet croissant type pastry with fun toppings. Think pastry, not heavy cake. I tried a "Sandy Beach" and "Maple Bacon". Both were good. Not traditional donuts, but a fun and tasty treat none the less. The service was friendly and helpful. The store was clean and nice. They have a lot of merchandise for sale, and some of it was kind of cool. They are open late into the afternoon. read more
