I have been shopping at the Colonial Plaza Center for many years. Before the redesign creating the…read moreopen air concept it was in direct competition with the Fashion Square Mall. Currently the Colonial Plaza has a couple of big box stores and a little bit of everything else tossed in. You will find discount stores, speciality stores, restaurants and personal services. Parking is adequate and you can usually find a space close to where you want to shop. The mall has spread out a lot over the years so if you are doing a large amount of shopping you will probably move your car around or stop by to drop off purchases before hitting another store.

Upsides: plenty of shopping, several restaurants / food places, lots and lots of parking…read more Downsides: really spread out and hard to walk from place to place without moving the car (think FL summer), spread out parking lot leads to chaotic driving / drivers. Shops include Pier 1 Imports, Hallmark, Big Lots, Ross, Ulta, Bealls, Hobby Lobby, Total Wine, Old Navy, Babies R Us, Walgreens, Barnes and Noble, Bulk Nation, and more! Restaurants / food places include Burrito Kitchen, Chick-fil-A, Ale House, Too Jays, and a couple more. This is a great and convenient place to find shops close by without having to drive to malls further away that have the same shops. It's a downer that during the summer months, this place is really hard to get from shop to shop without having to jump back in your car and move. It's around 90 - 105 degrees in the summer, so walking all the way across this giant lot to get from, example, Total Wine to Old Navy, would make you melt. Overall: A Convenient, but too spread out.

This spot scheduled to begin construction in early 2007 and it truly didn't become anything of sustenance until last year. I do have to say, I love the way everything has turned out aesthetically. It is no longer an eye sore and has many spots to check out! Mills Park is the home of Gallery at Mills Park Apartments and it's a 5 story, 300 apartment home. Very modern and sleek looking but my favorite part is when you walk around you can see a ton of gorgeous woodwork and they used the old mill yard wood to make these pieces. Very cool. The parking isn't very ample but things are still in the construction phases. It appears more parking will be coming. It sits on the Orlando Urban Trail so it's a great starting or resting point if you want to enjoy the trail. Tons of bike parking throughout the area as well. There is a variety of spots to grab food including: The Fresh Market Firebirds Segafredo - Rooftop! Brass Tap - Outside seating! First Watch Giraffas Other spots are: AT&T store Dr. Phillips Specialty Pharmacy Pure Barre Cherry Blow Dry Bar Marilyn Monroe Nail Boutique I have enjoyed watching this grow from conception and I can't wait to see what else is in store for this location.

When I went in, they had a Catering counter that had two people working it. I have never seen such a thing. The fresh fruit area where you get your sandwiches other items is more extensive than any location I have ever been in. No, I'm not saying that this store is humongous, but it is larger than the normal. The other thing that really surprise me was that they were better stocked than any Publix I have ever been in. I found quite a few items that I wanted to get, but I wasn't gonna be home For quite a few hours and did not want everything sitting in my car all day. I would definitely come back on a better day.

I told her that I needed the Clorox no splash scented. She looked at all of them and said there weren't any there. Later I found out she was wrong. The one's she told me weren't scented were actually scented. This old woman got an attitude early on in the conversation. She said there were some bleaches in the wrong spot under the incorrect label. She said no you don't know how it is. Dumb woman. I used to work at a grocery store stocking groceries, and also working in the frozen food department/dairy department, but she thinks that I don't know anything about labels.
