Also, I no longer live near that dentist, so I decided to look for a new one. I found Laurich Dentistry online and checked the reviews, and decided to try it. First of all, the office is bright and cheery. The waiting room is large and inviting. And the staff all seems happy; I heard a lot of laughing while I was there. The second thing is that, instead of old posters, they actually have TWO televisions in the rooms -- one on the wall and one on the ceiling -- so that you can completely relax during the appointment. I don't get nervous at the dentist, but I found this to be very much a patient-centered idea. Third, they were extremely thorough. They took several different kinds of x-rays and 3D images of my teeth. Both the hygienist (whose name I've forgotten, but I believe it starts with an A -- I want to say Aziza?) and Dr. Matt went over with me what they saw. I've never seen my teeth like that before! One of the things that I really appreciated was that the hygienist realized that I have a small mouth, so rather than making me jam the larger x-ray device in my mouth (which has always been uncomfortable in the past), she found a smaller one. I am so glad that I decided to change dentists. I wish I'd started going here sooner.

When I met Dr. Matt, he of course, was very friendly and professional plus explained in detail exactly what he would be doing and made sure I understand what was going to happen . He always made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The procedure actually went quite well. I am very happy that I had. Dr. Matt to do the implants and I definitely would recommend him.

I even tried to give her the back story on why I was asking and told her it was because I had already called what I thought was a dentist but turned out to be a referral system followed by sales calls. This seemed to make her even more irate. I was so confused by the rudeness that I told her that I was no longer interested. I still don't know for sure how this place operates, so I would just stay away and go somewhere that has informative polite representatives and not a pushy sales person just trying to get your info.

My post op instructions has a phone number no longer in use. Everyone is nice but the level of disorganization feels like it can and will affect your health. The day of my dental procedure I called and asked if I was suppose to be taking an antibiotic the front desk told me that was not necessary. When I got to my appointment I asked again and the dental assistant and doctor were both pretty shocked that I was told I didn't need an antibiotic. From my experience the quality of your care here will be dependent on how proactive you are for advocating for yourself.

I couldn't be more pleased. I think I've been in there 5 times this year, getting work done I put off for years. Two of those times were cleanings... something I previously dreaded but now was so comfortable and happy with the process I actually went back after 6 months (like they recommend - go figure)! No bleeding gums. No pain. These are nice, highly competent people that you actually like to see - in addition to doing a terrific job. They really go out of their way to explain and put context around everything they're doing while you're there, and also the options because you always have choices about what you have done & when. SO refreshing. In addition to the great dentistry the office is run very well. They have the latest technology so they can show you everything that is going on. They're great with insurance and the appointment process is smooth with text reminders and confirmations. Highly recommend - 6 stars out of 5!

Spoke with office manager Kim Malone she advised she doesn't listen to all the calls in the office. And that she couldn't help the situation with her staff quoting me several different prices. She read the notes and saw that I called in several times confirmed the procedure. Did my due diligence. I'd advise going else where if you need to budget in a root canal. Inflation is in full effect here depending on which staff member picks up the phone. Didn't get to the massage til after work 5pm. They canceled my appointment. So now I am left in pain trying to find another appointment. And they won't return my consultation fee that was supposed to be applied to the root canal. I would highly recommend getting everything in writing and paying for it as soon as they give you your first total that you to agree upon. I guess I like to know what I'm paying for.

Dr. Kareem is incredibly kind and gentle--honestly, she's the first dentist I've had who didn't hurt while numbing the area! The office is very efficient too; I was taken in just 5 minutes after arriving right on time. The assistant at the office was so friendly and helped calm my nerves since I tend to get anxious at the dentist. I had a temporary crown placed the same day, and I'll be returning in 3 weeks for my permanent one. I'm really excited to make this office my family's new go-to dental care provider!
