First timer. I've had this nagging pain in my right knee for 2 months now and I couldn't ignore it…read moreany longer. I asked my neighbor if he knew of a PT in the area. He didn't so I asked my buddy Google . Benchmark pops up in my area. I called to schedule an appt for the location up the street from my home. I get there today 30 min early to complete paperwork. I'm told I am scheduled for the other location . I'm like really what other location. Didn't know the other location is 10 min away. So no worries I called this location to let them know I'm in route I walk in there is one client sitting in the lobby. 4 clients were with PT. 2 PT on site at the time I was there. I was surprised to see it's an open floor clinic. Again this is my first time visiting a PT clinic. The receptionist Katrina was really nice. She knew my name as I walked up to the counter. Maybe bc she was expecting me. I gave her my insurance card and drivers license. Made copies and I completed the paperwork. Basil Papotto is my PT. He greeted me within 5 min of completing the paperwork. We walked to the back of the clinic for consultation. He asked a series of questions regarding level of pain and where the pain is. He demonstrated exercises to do at home. From what he assessed it can be taken care of without surgery. Appears to be minor lateral miniscus tear. Im happy to hear it's something that can be fixed without surgery. Basil was very attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I look forward to the next 8 visits. I'm ready to get back to running but I must allow this injury to heal. If you're in need of PT, check out Benchmark. They're in several locations . Oh the clinic was very clean. Considering the Covid-19 going on there were plenty sanitizer on the counters. I noticed the clients and PT were wearing masks . . I too had a mask on ! This location is conveniently located inside the plaza next to Wing Stop, T-Mobile and a Nail salon.

I've long been a proponent for hands on physical therapy versus the physical therapy mills that are seeing multiple people at the same time and not providing me with the attention I need to get better. After two visits to one of the big name physical therapy mills, I decided to call my former physical therapist in California for a recommendation. I'm not sure what or how he searched for a therapist, but whatever he did, he was able to find me Promotion Physical Therapy. They are an amazing place that is hands on and does amazing work. The front office staff is warm and welcoming. The therapists are talented and caring, and the owner who is also a therapist is compassionate, professional and very knowledgeable. My first therapist Michael was/is amazing! He does a procedure called dry needling which has done wonders for my knee. While Michael was on vacation I was assigned Sherri and Kerry, they have different techniques with great results. They have gotten my knee back to where I'm playing basketball again. All of my progress was made without surgery! I would recommend Promotion Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to get better and experience hands on physical therapy!
