The pharmacy is large and sells lots of gifts, cosmetics and perfumes and have some great box sets or special edition pieces, great for Birthdays or Christmas presents. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. The pharmacy department is at the back of the store and there are places to sit if you have to wait for your prescription and also a little play area for children. The prices of the goods they sell is a little bit more expensive than other chemists, but they do sell a good range, and sometimes have other things such as some perfume sets that you can't get elsewhere in the town.

I found a couple of old films in a drawer and they were very helpful with advice about getting them processed, the chap there knows his stuff. They also do a range of health checks like blood pressure and such and the subscription service is really useful. You can ring them to ask them to send your repeat prescription to your doctor's then they text you when your prescrption is ready to collect. How cool is that?

The store is well laid out and looks clean and tidy. The staff are pleasant and helpful and they do their best to serve you as quickly as possible at the checkouts. I can usually find what I am looking for in this branch of Boots, although it is not always the cheapest place around with other places like Bodycare that sell a lot of the same products. You can use your Boots advantage card though and save up for some treats for yourself!

They do sell a good range for a small store, but obviously it is limited to the best selling ranges, so it is more of a store to get what you need, rather than going in for a browse.
