The pharmacy is large and sells lots of gifts, cosmetics and perfumes and have some great box sets or special edition pieces, great for Birthdays or Christmas presents. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. The pharmacy department is at the back of the store and there are places to sit if you have to wait for your prescription and also a little play area for children. The prices of the goods they sell is a little bit more expensive than other chemists, but they do sell a good range, and sometimes have other things such as some perfume sets that you can't get elsewhere in the town.

I found a couple of old films in a drawer and they were very helpful with advice about getting them processed, the chap there knows his stuff. They also do a range of health checks like blood pressure and such and the subscription service is really useful. You can ring them to ask them to send your repeat prescription to your doctor's then they text you when your prescrption is ready to collect. How cool is that?

The store is well laid out and looks clean and tidy. The staff are pleasant and helpful and they do their best to serve you as quickly as possible at the checkouts. I can usually find what I am looking for in this branch of Boots, although it is not always the cheapest place around with other places like Bodycare that sell a lot of the same products. You can use your Boots advantage card though and save up for some treats for yourself!

This is a really handy pharmacy as it is situated right next door to the Doctors surgery so you can…read morepick up your prescriptions straight away without having to go into town and have the bother about finding somewhere to park. Because it is next to the Doctors it does get really busy though so you sometimes do have to wait a while and it is quite small so there is not really much to browse at while you are waiting, but it does save time in the long run as you can visit the Doctor and get your medicine in one trip. They sell all the usual things like tissues, cough medicines, lip balms and first aid stuff and the prices are about average too. Probably not the first place I would think about going to if I needed some chemist items, but definitely a good place to pop into after visiting the surgery if you need to.

They do sell a good range for a small store, but obviously it is limited to the best selling ranges, so it is more of a store to get what you need, rather than going in for a browse. The staff are helpful and very knowledgeable especially regarding pharmacy and prescription items and will advise you if you can buy something cheaper from the counter rather than on prescription to save you money.
