If you're looking for the super-unique, fine, handmade linen from the area you'll likely want to head elsewhere... but if you're looking for some cute items (for ladies only - I don't think I saw any men's stuff) that won't empty your whole wallet or purse be sure to pop in here.

My wife and I recently took a trip to Europe, stopping in Austria, Germany, Rome, and finally the Amalfi Coast. All of those spots were fun in their own ways, but we were most looking forward to relaxing along the Amalfi Coast. Reading the other reviews for Villa Mary, I was a little afraid of Paris syndrome (because of all the hype on TripAdvisor - 5 stars), but I am so glad that was not at all the case! Villa Mary was a lovely spot, perfect for relaxing. Some of the highlights were: the level of individualized service from Tiziana & Antonio (definitely the best thing about it!), the pool with a spectacular view, the location, and of course the included breakfast on the balcony. I want to highlight a couple of things. First, as I mentioned above, the service was amazing. This has been written about in many of the other reviews, but it can't be left out. We felt like we were guests at a friend's place rather a hotel. The second we walked in, we were offered coffee, followed by a very thoughtful walk-through of what to do while in town. We followed almost all Tiziana's recommendations, and were not disappointed by any! Secondly, the location was great! There are a few reviews about how it's a long way (and a lot of stairs) to get to places, but it's really not. Sure, there are stairs, but if you're not expecting this when visiting Positano, you didn't do your homework. I thought maybe even though I was expecting a lot of stairs, there'd be more than I could even imagine, but that wasn't the case. It's great exercise! And the grocery store (which sells cheese, wine, limoncello) is really not far at all. Location is great! I would much rather stay somewhere like this - with a view and away from all the craziness downtown. Lastly, thank you so much, Tiziana & Antonio, for making our stay a memory we will never forget! We got on the boat at the port in Praiano, and made a quick stop in Positano to pick up some more passengers. Our tour guide, Valentina, was amazing and spoke English, Italian and Spanish, making everyone on board very comfortable. Antonio, the captain was great and made a point to spin the boat around at each stop so folks on all sides of the boat could get a prime view. Valentina pointed out sights on the peninsula along the way and we did a full circumference of Capri before the day was over. Unlimited beers, sodas and water is included and they even brought us some snacks along the way. We stopped at all grottos (incl the famous blue grotto) plus a swimming spot, and then got a 4-hour window of free time on Capri to explore. The ride back to Praiano included some Prosecco and pastries to finish the day. If you're looking for a fun and relaxed way to get to Capri and see some of the coast by boat, look no further than L'Uomo e il Mare by Plaghia Charter!!

They dropped us off at the Marina Grande in Capri and you are free to explore the island for 4 hours. They suggested buying a picnic lunch by the dock (cured meats, cheese, bread, etc), grab a convertible cab ride to the gandola, ride the gandola to the top of Ana Capri, take in the view of the Faraglioni (eat lunch), and then do some shopping in Capri. When we got back to the boat, they gave us a 360 tour of Capri by stopping at every grotto (Blue, Green, and White) and passing under the Faraglioni. They also gave us prosecco and traditional Italian cake. There were also a few swimming breaks when we got to swim in a few bays / hidden caves. The tour of the Blue Grotto is not included in the cost of the tour, but we jumped in a row boat for €25 for a quick stop inside the grotto (it's an obligatory tourist stop, but way overrated). Overall, it was a memorable and highly recommended tour.

We scheduled a boat tour with Grassi Junior and were very disappointed. It was more transportation…read morethan a tour per sei. We might as well to have caught a water taxi, as it would be a better value. The captain dropped us off at the Capri harbor without telling us a bit of the island. We did not have any clue the center of the city was way up on the a hill and wasted a lot of time at the pier. We finally realized that the real Capri was at the top of the island and were able to enjoy the surroundings a bit. To make a long story short, we caught a taxi that would not take credit card and delayed us in our way back to the boat, which had left us behind only 2 minutes after the scheduled. 2 MINUTES. NOT 3 NOR 4! Fortunately we started yelling and the captain returned to get us! This company is offering a tourism package. It is beyond my understanding how you can be in the hospitality industry and not make an effort towards customer service. Not offer an app, nor a pamphlet, or just a recorded message with the highlights of the visit to the Island. A TAXI NOT A TOUR experience!
