It's a good hotel for the budget. Very basic, no frills. Parking can be a pain, especially if…read moreyou're not good at street parking. It's best if you have a small car. It's a very European hotel. No elevators so you may need to walk up 2-3 flights of stairs. There's no gadgets in room 25, aside from a tv and iPod (older version) docking station, and old heaters to keep you warm. The bathroom had a very tiny shower, like a fish tank, and the soap is generic to double up as a shampoo / gel. And a hair dryer that may take extra time to dry. The room 25 was a bit stuffy but airs out after opening the window. I'm afraid it will be hot in the summer as there's no AC. The bed was old, but comfortable and there's some storage space, but it was easier to live out of suitcase. Location isn't bad and I heard public transportation is a few minutes walk. There's a French restaurant down the street that was a little pricy but excellent, a pizza/ pasta place and a cafe if you want breakfast outside the hotel. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast in the room rate, but for an additional €10 per person there's a buffet at 07:00-0900 that's pretty good. Not hot food but plenty of selection like meats, cheese, breads, cereals, yogurts, juice, teas and coffees, including cappuccino. Four stars is about as high as I can suggest. Sebastian is a doll, overly helpful, as is his staff. Again, factor in price and it's a good value but you may miss the comforts of a commercial hotel.

The owners are so welcoming and staff was super friendly. Reasonably priced for the accommodations. Great experience over a chain hotel and must try!

Spent 3 nights here largely because the subway is so close, they said that they have AC, and the…read moreprice of course (came to less than $65 a night in June and Munich is expensive!). Leto chain is basically like a Motel 6 (even looks it) except the rooms are smaller since it's Europe. Pros- - Bed was comfortable - No problems with shower pressure - Probably the nicer staff in Germany (but that's not saying much since well...it's Germany) -You are within a 5 minute walk (if that!) to 3 bakeries, 2 supermarkets, a couple restaurants (didn't look good though), and the S1 and U3 line (although you aren't in town per say, these lines will take you to/from the bus and train station, Marienplatz, and Universiti) -Elevator -Value Cons- -I don't actually think that they have real AC...I think it's what they call air cooling which is a thing now in Europe (not quite AC).I had it on the coldest setting and it didn't cool the room down much...I felt like it just made AC noise yet wasn't real AC -It is slightly noisy if you are ground level like I was because you are the same level as the trains so bring ear plugs - Wifi was inconsistent Would I stay here again? If not in the summer maybe. I was very lucky that although it was humid, it wasn't that hot in Munich when I went.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, decorated nicely and containing all the necessities for a pleasant stay. Underneath the hotel is a lovely little café which serves drinks, pastries, etc. but it only takes cash (most places in Germany are similar, I found) so make sure you have change on you. A short walk from the hotel is a Subway and a gas station which has a store selling alcohol, cigarettes, snacks, etc. It's about a 10 minute average walk to the nearest S/U-Bahn station but the area is nice so we took our time to take in the scenery. The only issue I had with the hotel really was that check-in wasn't until 3pm, which is quite late and very inconvenient if you've been travelling all day!
