The rooms all come with modern, comfy chairs to recline in. A large desk is available in every room to plug in your lap top. The rooms are very quite, comfortable and the room temperatures are congruent to the guest's need. I stayed here in the dead of winter, where their was snow and a cold front. It was so nice to come into a warm room in the evening, after venturing on a long sightseeing trip through the city or hiking trails. Hotel Achat is walking distance near a metro station, which makes it easy for a tourist without a car for transportation to get around. There is a restaurant and a bar in the hotel for guests to dine in and unwind. There is also free wi-fi in the lobby/lounge area for 1 hour for guests with their own lap tops. I used their lobby to Skype home on many evenings. I stayed at Hotel Achat when I vacationed in Germany, earlier this year. I loved the luxury of staying at a new hotel with much luxury and classy service. The people that run this hotel are accommodating and genuinely kind. I struggle with speaking German. The staff all speaks English and right away answered my needs, while never laughing at me for butchering the German language. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Achat.

I was there for work which made the experience even better. I especially want to mention Herr Mayer at the front desk. He rocks and was super nice and helpful.

It's great if it's used and described as a cold dip pool for after sauna. The courtyard and the was poorly kept up. The gardener must have quit. Overgrown courtyard area and weeds out front. Our room was moldy smelling. The balcony had no chairs and faced a metal recycle facility that started operations at 6am and ended at 9am! Note: family rooms all face this facility- not great for kids. No ice machine. On the other hand, It is located south of the city center 10 min U-Bahn ride. Room was acceptably clean (besides odor) and bathroom updated. Room was plan with no decor. No in room fridge. The front desk staff was friendly. Bar staff was stressed out or not the friendliest. I've stayed in Holidsy Inn hotels in Europe and had great experiences, this was not one.

Our room was huge with a king bed and small balcony. The con was the smell of stale smoke despite being a non smoking room - not cool. Decent toiletries and deep soaking tub. Staff: A Friendly and helpful Location: B Depends why you're here. This hotel is in a business/suburban area so not much in the way of nightlife etc. However, the UBahn is 2 blocks away and gets you to Marienplatz in 15-20 minutes. As a bonus, it's quiet at night. Other info: Wifi is pay (€10/day) but 1 hour free for Priority Club members. Breakfast is €20 which is very expensive - skip it. Overall, a good stay at a decent, if a bit dated, property.
