And before I could even start to look for boot shops the name Boot Box was thrown at me. Everyone telling me the same thing. They are the best boot shop by far. And they were not wrong. Gary help me find the perfect shoe. I asked him lots of questions because I knew that he was the boot expert. I've always worn shoes that were budget friendly and somewhat okay. I didn't know anything about boots and just got what I thought felt okay. Not this time. Gary made me feel extremely comfortable when picking out the shoe, and making sure that they fit in the guidelines of what Job( Blue Buffalo) required. I think I tried on like 4 pairs. Some that fit and some that didn't and some that fit well. He told all the spots to check for when looking for comfort. I did tell him what i liked and didn't like in a work boot and problems I've had with the boots that I've had. He made sure that he gave and showed me the best shoe to eliminate all the problem areas and highlight the areas that I wanted.when I tried on my boots, he gave me a pair of thick socks to try on with them so that i get the full affect of how the boot is going to feel. I ended up leaving with a pair of slide in Doc Martins and some red darn tough socks. That have a wicking technology in them to allow your feet to not sweat. All I can say from here on out if I need boots or someone I know needs some boots the Boot Box with where I'll go and send everyone. The pricing is great, so you'll find something in your budget, and the customer service is out the door. Look no farther because the Boot Box should be the first and last stop when you are Boot shopping.

He took pics for me in case I wanted to see what was up there. We ended with shopping on the first floor, where we came in. There are a lot of items & the store is spotless. The prices are similar to other antique malls. I would like to return here in the future. It really is a lovely antique mall if you don't mind the stairs.

It's a bit cramped as every space is filled. I think this is how a good antique store should be. A treasure hunter's paradise. Lots of artwork, old dolls, and a big case full of books. The decor is old school and soothing and the different genres are marked on the outside of the shelves. I was disappointed to not see a dedicated area for horror/weird fiction. I enquired about Lovecraft and the very helpful male staff member told me nothing was in at the moment. He directed me to fantasy/science fiction and I did find a book to my liking. He also found me a small collection of Poe which I also secured for my library. I was also advised that I can let them know of books or authors that I'm seeking and they would let me know if anything comes in. The store is big so I know there is much more for me to explore next visit and they have several cozy sitting areas where you can just read, or have a cup of tea as well. I am looking forward to visiting again soon and updating.

As you meander through the maze of shelving, you find every genre you could want, from mystery and fantasy to travel and politics to children and YA. They even have a hidden Harry Potter room under the stairs and a Sherlock Holmes reading room in the back. What a great place. The owners are accommodating, friendly, and smart, and the books are always priced at a bargain. Must visit!
