This place is fantastic and we cannot wait to go back- probably next weekend! Speak easy- go thru the small diner to the back hall into the lounge, which is surprisingly very big. (a host will most likely seat you) Pretty sure you need a reservation- we got lucky with some friends who set us up with one; the place was packed and the music was incredible. The craft cocktails menu is really big and diverse- I tried the Acid Butterfly with cold brew and tequila and it was absolutely delicious. We heard the Katsu chicken sandwich is delicious but we missed out because they ran out, so it must be. But the chicken burger I had was really flavorful and filling. The fries are tasty with a Cajun type seasoning. The spicy sauced edamame was a great starter. The ribs were decent (big portion) but more sweet than we prefer, could use some kick. The service was outstanding, despite how packed it was and how loud with the band on stage and even with the usual language barrier. This is such a great spot!

We paid the same $400 cover and had a reservation as everyone else but were shown to a table with a completely obstructed view of the stage (see photo). There were other empty tables - but when we asked to be moved, they told us they were "reserved" (we had a reservation too!). If you are going to charge a ticket, you should ensure that all guests get a good view or that it is at least first come first served. The cocktails were nice but overpriced.

Does a good hamburger with great ingredients (maple syrup not to my taste but it works). The fries are on a whole other level though. Helpful staff and spotlessly clean. Always nice to have an open kitchen too. A little pricey for what you get. Can't really be charging three times the price of a regular can of coke for a mixer size. Cool nevertheless. I ate well and would recommend for a one-time visit, but won't be making the return trip.

Great place for live jazz music in Mexico City. The environment was very friendly and welcoming. Solid food and service as well.

I was captivated by the warm, eclectic ambiance--shelves stacked with old books, cozy little crannies, and fascinating antique items tucked into every corner. It felt like stepping into a hidden gem where every detail added to the charm. I ordered the As de Corazones, a gin-based cocktail with raspberry, egg white foam, and a spritz finish. It was hands-down the best cocktail I had in CDMX--beautifully balanced, slightly tart, and perfectly smooth. I also tried the Josita, which was incredibly refreshing (and deceptively strong!), making it the perfect drink to sip on while soaking in the atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive, with bartenders who clearly know their craft. Whether you're a cocktail lover or just looking for a great spot to unwind, Pata Negra is a must-visit. (I even went back as a goodbye to CDMX on my last night)

They had a few TVs with some sports on which is why we chose this place. Service was friendly, and quick to take your initial order but after that it was kinda hard to order a second or third drink you really had to flag them down. We came back on a second visit and they were out of some of the beers we ordered the previous visit. On the plus side the beers were ice cold. Much colder than out of the refrigerator which made it so easy to drink.
