We hired Justin to complete our front and back landscape. When we first met him, he came off as a genuine, knowledgeable, and friendly business owner. We also hired Justin Parker to complete our decking on our new pool. What a nightmare he and his company was. He came in the next day after we hired him with his crew and they uprooted everything in our yard for two day and then we didn't see him for the next two weeks. He came back and worked for a couple hours and we didn't see him for another 2 weeks. This was his pattern. I tried to talk to him about completing the work and he would express lie after lie. He didn't complete the job according to what we discussed. Our neighbor warned us about him but we decided to go ahead and give him a chance anyway. We asked for a detailed contract of what plants and trees we would be getting. He convinced us to let him start without a contract and gave us a handwritten list on his company letterhead. He told us the job would take 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. We were going on 3 months and decided to just fire him and he still wasn't done. We payed him over $48,000 and just told him to keep the money and leave as he was never honest. He took total advantage of us. We live in the Sanctuary subdivision. We planned an oasis with Parker Landscaping and he literally didn't give us any of the plants or trees we discussed. I'm our front yard, he was supposed to add all new box woods, magnolias, and flowers. He uprooted the old box woods and replanted them . He placed cheap flowers in the front of our yard (not the ones we discussed) on one side and never even completed the other. He was suppose to line our backyard with 7 ft. Japanese Yules. We went out to our yard and he literally placed 3 foot cheap Japanese yules in our yard. We went out of town and came back a week later, he totally redesigned our plans on landscaping. It was cheaply done. He was supposed to plant 6 foot Japanese Yules around our pool equipment. He planted 4 foot cheap trees. We paid for the best and he totally took advantage of us as we were honest and told him we didn't know much about landscaping. We explained to him a previous experience with our former landscaper. He apologized for the bad job that company did bad mouthed them. He stole our pool diggers tile contractor and hired him to do our decking deceiving the pool digger and us as if that guy (sub-contractor) was his contact and didn't even pay the poor guy for the work we paid Parker Landscaping to complete. I should have known not to use him from the beginning as he had no online reviews nor any social media or online presence. He claims he receives business by word of mouth but I discovered he's a deceiver, manipulator, liar, with poor work ethics. We played a huge part of being deceived for not getting a detailed contract list and making sure he was credible by asking for proof of his work and referrals. I was apprehensive about writing this review as I didn't want to speak negative about anyone but I want anyone considering using this company to be aware of the bad practices Justin Parker with Parker Landscaping LLC practices.
