I have been charged for a no show appointment twice. Each time, I've tried leaving a voicemail to cancel or reschedule and nobody listened to them or returned my call. Thankfully, they were able to remove the charge given the situation, which was nice, but still. To avoid this situation, I don't know why someone there can't just pick up the phone. I'm not too pleased with the demeanor or professionalism of the front desk staff. Every time I walk in for my appointments, all I'm given is "Name?" No kind of greeting, smile or anything. It almost seems like I'm a problem for them to come in for my appointments, which is why I usually try to just do telehealth unless something comes up where I'm NEEDED to go in office. When leaving, I avoid having to speak with check out by just requesting a follow up visit on the app. I've stopped trying to schedule in office at checkout because I get the same demeanor and unprofessionalism as check in. In conclusion, my providers are amazing, but the office staff is terrible. This is a medical office and it's absurd that NOBODY answers the phone or calls you back. I did the blood test and everything looked good, so I called him to get my prescription. Then I called again. And again. After 3 weeks, he finally wrote the prescription. Now it's a year later and I needed to renew the prescription and ran into the same problem. I went two weeks without my medication before I finally found another doctor to write me an Rx. Save your time and money. Find an endocrinologist that isnt overwhelmed.
