I took my oriental carpet to…read moreKhouri's in Mashpee, MA to have a small 8" x 1'.5" end section of my 6'.2" x 7'.3" carpet treated for a cat urine stain and to remove the smell from the small area ONLY. This took 4 weeks and cost $252. When I received my carpet back, all of the colors had bled and the entire carpet smelled as if it had been chemically cleaned. The fact that I trusted Khouri's to take care of my carpet disgusts me tremendously! This carpet was one of a kind and cannot be replaced, sentimental value and the work of how it was acquired has been overshadowed by the ruination of a treasured item! Khouri's claims to use a cold water cleaning solutions to prevent bleeding of colors. They ruined the entire carpet with all the reds bled completely through the cream color from front to back when they only needed to work on a SMALL Area, NOT the entire carpet! I will never use them again and recommend going somewhere else if you require a select cleaning for an oriental carpet.

Pablo and Flavio have an excellent and professional 'can do' attitude and their customer service is impeccable. They showed up on time as per our agreement, took on the job and cleaned the interior and exterior windows, muntins and screens, (they even repaired the screens that were damaged, totally unexpected but what a pleasure) and further, cleaned our garage windows despite having to navigate the obstacle course of our disorganized garage. I would have preferred extra time was spent to protect paint job. My bad for paying final bill without throughly checking work in daylight. I was so thrilled with how the floors looked that I didn't notice drip marks until the next visit to the house. Complained to John and was ghosted. Irony is that it was John's idea for us to have the risers painted white -- they were originally same stain color as steps. Now we will need to sand and repaint. I specifically asked John which I should have done first -- floors or painting -- and he said it didn't matter to him. Painters, btw, knew we were going to have all the wood floors refinished, but they carefully covered every inch anyway before prepping walls and risers. Again, very happy with actual floors and communication during work. Moral of story -- paint after floors. UPDATE: Nice to finally hear from you John even if not directly -- btw that is what ghosting means -- you never responded to my text. It's been 2 months since you finished and I only posted my review yesterday. Very patient on my part. I guess you would have preferred me nagging you? I knew before you told me that touch ups along the baseboards might be needed where the sander left scuffs -- actually were no scuffs in baseboards. The drips on risers could gave been avoided had you covered them with plastic instead of the 1" tape alone. Review is accurate, floors are beautiful. We are very pleased with floors but frustrated and disappointed about the drips. If you are concerned about your reputation, acknowledge that you could have spent a little extra time protecting fresh paint on risers and trim below upstairs walkway, apologize and move on.

I sent an email requesting a quote on…read moreSunday evening, received a response within an hour, several follow-ups similarly speedily, and was able to book service for Tuesday morning, right when I wanted. Being able to communicate via email, and getting all my many questions answered quickly, was a huge advantage over other companies I contacted. Jim was running slightly late at his previous job, but called me ahead of time to let me know, which I appreciated. And I surely put him in the exact same position with his next client, as I kept adding things beyond what we originally discussed I wanted removed once he was here, including a queen sized mattress/boxspring and a heavy bureau. And at the end of the job, Jim asked for the exact same payment he had originally quoted, which was slightly less than the other quote I received from a competitor (we decided to add on ourselves, but it was a generous offer). Everyone was extremely nice, friendly, and wore masks when inside without me having to ask. Highly recommend.
