He started the work without ever meeting me or getting money from me. ( I live off-island). He was ALWAYS there on time and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He took pictures and videos of the work and kept me updated daily. Shortly after, the pandemic hit, and construction was halted. Well, with the very rainy season this caused an issue despite his valiant effort to keep the roof safe from the wind and rain. He went to the trouble of getting special permission to go over and secure the area again to protect it from the rains and winds, all the while being harassed by people driving by and witnessing his working. Cups and buckets were helping the situation but it was clearly a losing battle. Calling Alan's office, they recognized the urgency of the situation and soon sent Derrick over to examine the problem. The leak was getting worse and Derrick shut down the water heater and took the pressure off it. The following day Eli showed up with a new water heater, removed the old one and installed the new one, and by late afternoon he and Alan had the new one working perfectly. Their problem is they change their work schedule on the date they are supposed to show up. That is beyond frustration. Then, they will call you again, to reschedule it for another several weeks later. It is highly unreliable doing the work with them. And, they do not explain or apologize, that is another issue I have with them. But, when they show up. their work is okay, but slightly more expensive than other contractors on the island. I almost think they abuse the clients-contractor relations, for those who have few options for the plumbers, they should really consider someone else off-island. Because of their very poor time-managing issues, they only get 2 star, otherwise 3.5.
