Worst hotel experience ever -- ruined our Christmas break. We stayed at Park Regency Resort Park City during Christmas, and the experience was unacceptable due to poor management and a complete lack of accountability. To be fair, the front desk staff, maintenance team, and shuttle drivers were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the manager's response completely overshadowed everything else. 1) Water leak on Christmas Day (Dec 25) On Dec 25 (Christmas Day), we returned after lunch and noticed water on the bathroom tile floor, along with a visible wet patch on the ceiling. The wet floor was slippery and unsafe. Maintenance came, but the resort could not fix the issue and could not offer a room change that night, so we were forced to spend Christmas Day in an affected room. We were moved the next day. 2) Manager refused compensation and blamed the booking platform When we asked for a discount for that first night, we were told only the manager could approve it. When we spoke to the manager on Dec 27, she refused any compensation and told us to "go ask the booking platform." This was extremely unprofessional and felt like she was simply trying to pass the responsibility to Booking.com instead of resolving an issue that happened on their own property. 3) Major security incident -- our room door was left unlocked On Dec 28, we double-checked that the door was locked before leaving to ski. When we returned at night, we found the door unlocked. As two young women traveling alone, this was terrifying. We reported this immediately to the front desk. They said there were no cameras, and although they mentioned someone would check the lock, nothing was done. 4) No investigation, no explanation, no apology On Dec 29, the manager still did not investigate, contact housekeeping, or provide any explanation or apology. She promised to reply to our email to the booking platform as confirmation, but she never did. 5) A $50 gift card is not a resolution After paying over $1,300 for 5 nights, the manager offered only a $50 gift card at checkout. This is not acceptable given the leak, safety risk, and lack of response. This place needs serious improvement in management, guest safety, and customer service. 3 1/2 stars We stayed at this place for a few night during ski season, and it was one of the very few spots that was not ridiculously expensive considering its location. What I liked the most is the fact that there are several restaurants within walking distance; downtown is just a little more than one mile away, and to get to the Park City slopes (about a mile walk otherwise) they have a very convenient shuttle that ran on time. The staff was very friendly and they offered a Happy Hour on Tuesdays that was surprisingly enjoyable, with wines, cheese and a nice charcuterie board. This gave us the opportunity to mingle with other guests. We had a one-bedroom unit and it felt a little dated in terms of furniture, but it had all the expected basics. It was also on the smaller side compared to other similar accommodations I've rented in the past such as condos in Snowmass. The motel-like setup was surprising, with most of the rooms opening to the outside. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use the heated pool and jacuzzi since the idea of walking in frigid temps to get there and back was not the least appealing to me. I'd recommend this place if you are fine with some of the units being fairly small and in need of an update. read more

We have visited this location many times with good results. It's certainly not fancy but in the past has been good enough after long ski days. Not this time where basically everything had issues. First was the water and this is HUGE; we only had hot water on 3 of our 7 days. On the other four days we had to duck in and out of cold water to get clean. Front desk response was a joke, something along the lines of "our boiler works fine, too many people are taking showers at the same time - try another time". Here's the thing; they are near skiing. Everyone goes out, skis all day, then wants a shower before dinner - and it should not be cold. We heard the same complaint form several guests. In a prior review someone indicated they got a new boiler in December; it was obviously not big enough. Hot tub - Yes, it was hot but had minimal jets, almost none. Pool - closed for repairs. Again the front desk attitude was too bad; it's on our website. OK realistically how many people check a resorts website after they make the reservation. Bedroom sink - didn't drain when we got there; we discovered it was full of black hair - we don't have black hair. Stove - completely covered in cooked on food in the trays under the burner. We showed pictures to the front desk and the reaction was about the same as everything else. In this case it was don't worry, we won't charge you for that. Shuttle - this is one of the best features of this place. They take you to ski, dinner, grocery store, etc. They have a published schedule they give you at check in for drop off and pick up. We waited at Deer Valley for a ride at the time indicated on the schedule - no pickup so we called. The answer was we don't follow that schedule (the one we were given the day before). The shuttle drivers are amazing; they are about the only thing. Net - find another place to stay. The rooms need some serious updates. Everything seems to be very old. The beds were very creaky and the furniture all kinda looks like miscellaneous garage sale items . The AC struggled. Our first night we barely slept because it was so hot!! We didn't check out the pool cause it's an indoor pool. The staff was very nice though! Overall the place is fine if you're not going to be in the rooms long but just need a home base in between other activities. read more

No frills as others have said. Good central location. Shuttle driver Tim was excellent and was a highlight of the trip. He ran on time to both Park City and Deer Valley. Why one star? We noticed on checking in that there was a pile of trash on the patio. It could have been there since New Year (we stayed in March). It was composed of New Year party hats, beer bottles and cigarette butts. We asked no fewer than 5 times to have someone come and clean up the trash. Each time I told them this was the second, third, etc time I was asking. On the third time I asked if I could have a large garbage bag and I would do it myself. They insisted that was not necessary and that they would take care of it right away. They never did...it really ticked me off. read more

When I think back at my 10 day stay at the Park Regency it was like before I drove up they took the Motel 6 Sign off and threw up a Park Regency sign. But the sad part about it was that no one left the light on for me. It is a straight up motel style deal right in the heart of Park City. Most of the Rooms you enter from the outside. The room had a slight stuffy stinch to it. After a couple of hours you did not even smell it anymore. When I went out to eat someone came up to me and kind of sniffed me and said. "You're staying at the Par Regency Arent You". Ok, that did'nt really happen, but it could have. The coolest thing about it was the lobby. When you check in to the lobby you say. hmm, this place is not so bad. They have free wireless internet that is only accessable in the lobby. They also have a computer in the lobby with high speed internet. One thing that pissed me off was that someone stole my phone charger right in the lobby while I was there. If you are looking for very basic accomodations this is the place. They rent rooms nightly. It is also a timeshare place so you can rent from someone who owns a timeshare there. The Park Regency is decidedly no frills - certainly by Park City standards - but it's perfectly fine as no frill places go. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathrooms had been renovated, and the staff was very pleasant. The location is fantastic; there are several restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The unexpected feature that my husband and I particularly enjoyed was the wood burning fireplace. We had a fire three of the four nights that we stayed there. The hotel provided wood the first night along with a firestarter gel pack and matches. We had a friend bring us additional firewood (although it's available to buy at nearby grocery stores) and the front desk was more than happy to give us more gel packs. The suite that we stayed in had a bedroom with a king sized bed, and a set of bunkbeds in an alcove by the front door. The sofa was a sleeper sofa. It was advertised as a suite that slept 4. We were traveling without the entourage, so it wasn't an issue - but if we did have our young children with us, I don't think the alcove sleeping arrangement would've cut it. There was no door and it would've been difficult to get them to sleep in that scenario. Bottom line - as a place to spend a few days for my husband and I, we were perfectly happy with our stay at the Park Regency. read more

We found this place because we wanted to ski during Spring Break. The price was good but the best was the location (close to Prospect Park with public transportation and a supermarket nearby). They also offered shuttle to the ski areas. They have followed COVID19 regulations (masks, clean pens). The clerks and other personnel were very friendly. My only negative comment is that they have decided to close down the pool for one family at a time only with reservations but some families made a reservation and did not show up. The final detail that we appreciated much, they allowed us to use a restroom to shower the last day after skiing and after checking out. Thanks! read more

The staff is friendly, the parking was easy and they offer a private shuttle service within the vicinity of park city which was a huge benefit if you're going to the mountains or going out for the night. The Park Regency was decent - especially with a low offseason rate of $80/night. It's located across from a strip mall, but is minutes from Main Street and downtown, so the location is a plus. However, there were a few quirks; I'm not sure if they were exclusive to our room or rampant throughout the property. First off was the cold water (or lack thereof). When we first arrived, we were surprised to find hot water coming out of both faucets. Not lukewarm...HOT. I called the front desk and was advised to turn on all the cold water faucets and let them run for a few minutes. This worked, but it took about five minutes for the water to cool off. Unfortunately, we had to do this almost every time we wanted cold water. Granted, we stayed here in the midst of a heatwave - temps topped 90 degrees each day - so maybe the pipes just warmed up too much? Which brings up the second issue: the inefficient A/C. We lowered the thermostat to 69 (it wouldn't let us set it any colder) and ran it constantly for three days, but the room never cooled below 75. Normally this wouldn't be an issue in Park City, but during a record breaking hot streak in the summer, it was pretty uncomfortable. Fortunately, our bedroom had a ceiling fan, and that helped tremendously during the night. Otherwise, the accommodations were nice. Our condo was spacious and clean; the king bed was luxuriously soft, and our bedroom had a private bath/shower. There was a separate room with a bunkbed for my teenage daughter. A small kitchen provided us with the opportunity to cook meals in the room, saving us money, and our private balcony had a nice view of the surrounding hills. The wood burning fireplace would have been perfect had the temperature been 20 degrees cooler. We took advantage of the pool and spa, and grilled steaks on one of the four gas barbecue grills provided free for guests to use. These were clean and well maintained. There was some remodeling taking place, but while the place looks a bit dated on the outside, the rooms are nice and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again - but hopefully when the weather is cooler and they've fixed the issue with hot water coming out of the cold water faucets. read more

We stayed at this location because the in-laws have owned into this timeshare for over 20 years. There are 6 of us (2 adults/4 kids) and attempted to get into a 2 bedroom unit. Apparently there are only 6 of the 2 bedroom units in the facility. So needless to say we got a 1.5 bedroom unit (a 1 bedroom and a small area with 2 bunk beds and no door). Like one of the other reviewers said, we just didn't spend much time in the room. There are numerous activities for the kids in the area. Also the pool is a good size and is well maintained. The property itself is nice and maintained. They appeared to be painting the buildings during our stay. Also, the staff was really nice and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. My only real complaint was the kitchen/dining area. The appliances were older and the kitchen area was very small. If there were only 2 or 3 in the room it wouldn't be a problem but with 6 it was challenging. But again, that was really the only negative. read more

We were in Park City for a medical appointment, when we arrived, we were struck by the plain and rough appearance. The lobby was filled with an awful order that was over powering. When we asked about the smell, the person behind the desk said it was probably the pool. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel / motels in my 75 years and have never smelled such an order, pool or otherwise. Then they demanded a $100 incidental deposit which had not been discussed or advertised prior to our arrival, it took some time to understand what she was saying because of her broken English, but we got though it. Then came the elevator, we called it, after some time the door opened and we entered, pushed the second floor but nothing happened. I pushed it again and the door closed, then promptly went to the basement. No matter what we did, the door would not open and the car would not move. We finally dug the emergency phone out of the filthy dirty box it was in and call out. I was greeted by someone who could not speak English at all, after several tries, she did say "Go Up Stairs" which I would have gladly done if only the door would open. Finally the door did open due to someone coming down stairs and resetting the electrical control for the elevator. We walked out and tried to find the stairs, there were no signs or indication as to which way to go, so we wondered around in what has to be the dirtiest floor I have ever seen. Finally found the stairs and started up to our floor. Once we arrived, we found the card would not open the door, I had to return down the stairs to get a card that would work. By now, I'm on the ragged edge of anger but managed to unload our clothes and retair. The door to the bathroom stuck half way open and we had to grab it with both hands and yank it open or closed to provide any privacy. The room was adequate but certainly not Park City quality. When we checked out, I requested a receipt for the room and the $100 deposit and was told to just look at my CC bill when It came in the mail, I then demanded a receipt and did get one for the room, but was told there was no way they could confirm that the $100 was returned to CC account. If I have to return for a medical check up, I would sleep in my car as opposed to sleeping in this dump again. read more

The Park Regency is a centrally located, small hotel with decent amenities. My favorite thing about the room was the wood burning fireplace. They don't mess around with any of that fake fire ambiance. They've got the real deal. Sitting in front of the fireplace at night and watching the night skiing at The Canyons resorts is relaxing and the best part of staying here. The resort has a newly remodeled pool area, which is nice, but the pool itself is slightly chilly especially in winter. The hot tub was the temperature that I would have liked to experience in the pool. It was far too cold for a hot tub. Park city is a cold place, turn up the heat a little. We left shivering. It is nice to have an in room kitchen which is is tight, but has everything you need to cook a full meal. It is also nice having two bathrooms in the 1.5 bedroom unit. There is a decent king bed with a memory foam mattress topper in the main bedroom and the half bedroom has a bunk bed. There is also a pull out sofa in the living area. each unit has a nice balcony as well. One thing I was very disappointed about was the customer service. The resort ended up losing my reservation. It took several hours to get the situation rectified so that we could check in and the desk was hardly apologetic. The burden was on me to prove I belonged there. There is free on site laundry at the resort and when I asked the front desk if they provide laundry soap I was given one box (one load). I asked for one more the day before checking out and and they wanted to charge me $2.00 for the box. When I explained that I thought they were free because the clerk had given me one previously she made me pay for that one too (what?). I could have bought a small bottle of decent detergent for only a little more than I paid for those two loads. That's very frustrating.It's fine if they are going to charge, but they need to communicate with each other better on this type of thing. The cleaning staff was fantastic and helpful, though! There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance, which is lovely as well. All in all it was a nice stay. Honestly I would probably rather stay at the Lift Lodge if I was going for the same type of resort in Park City in the future. read more

In this hotel, you get what you paid for. It's conveniently located in the heart of Park City. You're 2-5 minutes from Main Street and most resorts. It has the feel of an Airbnb that you feel right at home. The downside to this place is (1) the walls are so thin that when you're watching a movie you're next door neighbors can hear you (2) some of the lights don't work. Exactly what we needed. My husband and I stayed here while my family stayed up at the fancy resort at Deer Valley. It was a perfect compromise and gave us the space we needed at a much better price. Park Regency has only one drawback, it's internet ranks as worse than dial-up. Between Midnight and 6 am its good, other than those hours it sucks. The owners don't seem to care as this is a multi-year problem. The staff and housekeeping personal are first class as is the location and free shuttle vans that negate the need for a car. We had to wake to what I thought was the place collapsing in on us. Just before 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning, the condo above us starting being renovated. I could hear the tile bring broken up, I am sure that carpet was being laid, and the pounding and demolition did not let up in the two hours it took me to get out of the condo. I called the front desk to inform them the place was coming down and they informed they were on a deadline. When I checked out, I told them that I understand deadlines but I would be far more accepting of the situation if they would have given me a courtesy heads up - maybe a note on my door letting me know construction would be happening, maybe give me the option to move to a room on the third floor, maybe some acknowledgment that waking to sledge hammers at 8 am while you are on vacation is completly unreasonable. It's an older building but it's nice to have a mini kitchen with a fridge stove microwave coffee maker :) plus they give you robes!! And there's a real fireplace in the room!! We were here for a week on vacation. Our condo was economically priced, with a lot of amenities. We had a king-size bed, full kitchen, balcony, free washing machine and dryer, bbq, swimming pool, ping pong, and ample free parking. The employees were helpful. The location was central with restaurants and services in walking distance. We were less than 5 minutes from old town main street. I can recommend this as a place to stay for a good price. read more

We were extremely happy with our accommodations. We had a 2 bedroom condo, with 2 balconies overlooking a beautifully manicured lawn area. The kitchen was full size and all the appliances worked fine. Everything was clean. It is however a bit run down, and the elevator wait can get long. The best part of our stay, without question, was the staff. A giant shout out to Jarred, Isaac, Tuki, Yesinia, Tim and last, but definitely not least, Chuck. Anything we needed, from a restaurant suggestion (which were all fantastic) to directions, to awesome tours, to getting more firewood, they were friendly and helpful and madde our stay incredibly pleasant! read more

I am not quite sure why the low reviews on the Park Regency. I have never stayed in a Motel 6 with a full kitchen in every room, heated indoor pool (even in the dead of winter), free use of outdoor grills, heated underground parking (yes it is limited), fireplace in every room, balcony or patio on every room, and free resort owned shuttle to anywhere in town. I would first like to address the issue of sleeping in the sofa bed. How many places have you stayed in that have a pull out sofa bed that you do not need to rearrange the furniture? If the previous reviewer wanted two beds they should have rented the 2 BR or the 1 BR plus bunk beds. The 1 BR plus bunk beds is Ideal for a family of 4. because it has 2 bathrooms and does not require the use of the sofa bed. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the cooking items you might want for a short stay, dishes utensils, cookware and the standard dishwasher, stove with oven, toaster, micro, blender, etc... The balcony rooms are preferred by me and the 3rd floor has just gone through a remodel of the kitchens with granite counter tops and new stainless appliances. The pool and hot tub are covered by a greenhouse like structure and it is nice and warm in there even when we were there in early February this year. The outdoor grills are great to use and since there are 4 of them I have never had to wait to use one. My wife and I like to get some steaks and Shrimp and have dinner in once each trip, eating out every meal in Park city can get expensive. The bath rooms are small but have ceramic tile and are clean and well maintained. There is now free wireless within the entire building for about the last year and it works well. just check with the front desk for the pass code. There are also two lobby computers for guest use just in case you forgot to bring yours. All in all I guess you can see that I like the Park Regency and will go back there again. I would recommend the 1 BR for 2 people and if you have more go for the larger units, or get 2 because the price is right, With the stiff DWI laws in Utah the shuttle makes an ideal mode of transport when going out for the evening. Getting to Deer Valley, Park City Mountain or Main Street could not be easier just jump on the shuttle and you are at the base of the mountain ready to ski. The shuttle van has a ski/snowboard rack on the back and you can get to and from the mountain with all your gear on (including boots). The previous reviewer was right it is not the Ritz Carlton but then Park City hotels (just a bed and a bath) charge $250-450 a night in ski season, get yourself a nice place and save the cash for skiing. read more

This place fits solidly in the "fine" category. Mediocre, but satisfactory on pretty much all counts. A couple of small annoyances (the TV in the living room didn't work, the bottom of the tub was kind of grey, the thermostat did its own thing regardless of our attempts to change it), but pretty clean and the bed was comfy. Strange priorities for where they spent money on classing up the rooms (nice plantain shutters and stainless steel kitchen appliances, but a very outdated bathroom and tv from the 90's). Also, only one mirror aside from the bathroom--and it was too short to be the full-length it was meant to be, cutting you off at the chest when standing in front of it. We paid $180/night over a winter holiday weekend--much more affordable than other places, and just fine. read more

When my wife and I arrived at the hotel on Saturday, 18 June, there were 2 staff members waiting on two other couples, the staff took the time to greet us immediately. After only a few minutes, we were being assisted. The first room we were assigned was 328. I decide to have a peek at the room before gathering our luggage. We went inside the room and found the room acceptable until I walked out on the balcony. There was a pigeon which was roosting on a nest and was not going to leave. The balcony was covered in pigeon poop and feathers. We retreated back to the front desk. We overheard another unhappy couple (not sure of the particulars) requesting a new room assignment. We were assisted and assigned a new room, at my wife's request; we ended up with a room at the back end of the building away from the pool noise. I am an early to sleep and early to rise person. We pulled the car into the garage over the extreme speed bump. The speed bump is a bit ridiculous to drive a low sedan over. When we got to the room, the room was warm, but not cool. I immediately tried to adjust the thermostat, to get the room cooler. As we started settling in, we began to notice some furniture, fixtures and appliances which could have used a bit more attention (mirrors dirty, commode dirty, stove top dirty). There was a shard of wood protruding from the patio railing. We settled in regardless. The first night was an early night. The temperature inside the room the next day was getting warmer. I tried to adjust the thermostat again to help cool the room. I finally decide there was not any AC. On Sunday morning, I began my routine to read my local paper online. I am certainly glad I read it early, because shortly after the wifi went down. I kept inquiring with the front desk and received various responses. The last time I called on Monday, the response was the manager needs to contact Comcast, and he won't be in till Tuesday. Apparently, no one else is authorized to contact the cable and wifi provider except the manager. By the time Comcast was contacted, the appointment to correct the issue was set for Thursday, 4 days later. The customers were all expected to share one computer in the lobby. There are two computers, but guess what, the other one would not connect properly, so it could not be used. On Monday afternoon, we spoke to another guest and she indicated, she had AC in her room and there was not any problem with it. I contacted the front desk and was instructed to turn the thermostat off since it was a chiller system. I did, and woke up on Tuesday morning to 91 degree temps in the room. My wife and I went out of town Tuesday, so I contacted the hotel by phone. I was informed maintenance would try to repair the AC. When I arrived back at the 89 degree room, I spoke with the front desk, only to find out the chiller system serving our room has leaks and would not get repaired until Thursday. I complained with the front desk clerk regarding the AC and the wifi situation, she offered to give us another room which was cooler. The room she offered was on the bottom level directly across from the pool area. This was not going to work for my schedule. The AC or wifi was working when we left a day early on Friday. In conclusion, I will say the front desk staff on location was professional and considerate under the circumstances. The management in my opinion failed in every sense of the word. read more

We stayed at the Park Regency this past holiday season becasue it was the only place that we could get last minute in prime ski season for under $250 a night. We paid ~$100/night and were disapointed. We had a one bedroom unit with a full kitchen but needed to rearrange the furtniture in order to have the sofa bed open and use the kitchen area at the same time. You need to fold up the sofa bed to use a table to eat or use the fireplace. The doors open to an outside courtyard area and we had a problem making sure our door really locked. The construction seemd really cheap and we asked to move rooms because the door of the first unit we were assigned didn't stay closed at all. The furniture and all fixtures were cheap, and looked kind of like a run down college dorm. I can't believe people would buy into this facility as a timeshare. There is a parking garage in the basement that can only accommadate ~12cars so it is unlikley that you can ever get a space there, excpect at midday when no one is there. The best thing about this place is it's location which is close to numerous ski facilities, a 24 hr supermarket and restaurants. I was glad we didn't spend too much time in the room. So, this place is no different then anywhere else, you get what you pay for. It gave us an inexpensive place to stay, the staff was helpful, but overall I will probably recomend you just pay more for a better place if traveling to Park City. Unless faced with similar circumstances again, I would not stay here, I would suggest you look elsewhere. read more

The facility was fair but I was stolen from. I was charged a $100 cleaning fee for dog feces and accused of having a dog in the apartment. Since my companion is highly allergic to dogs, she would not have survived the six nights with a do, let alone what they described as the condition of the room. Both the manager and the desk person treated me rudely when I tried to get this straightened out. I have no doubt that someone went in after we checked out and smeared the feces, then took pictures. If you stay there, be sure to take detailed pictures of all the rooms as you leave and be sure they are time and date stamped so that they can't rip you off like they did me. read more

The beds were amazingly comfortable, the pool and spa were clean, warm, and lots of fun, and the coffee in the lobby and staff are superb. Great location! The restaurants within walking distance were great. Sammy's, Einstein's, and Alberto's were across either the parking lot or the street. There is even a Subway in the parking lot. The lobby is comfortable and did I mention the coffee with all the different flavored creams? And my son and I played ping pong and he even borrowed goggles for the pool. 4 barbecues are in the main courtyard and are covered. Great place!!!! read more

You get what you pay for with the Park Regency. It's one of the cheapest places in Park City but that doesn't mean it was bad. You just need manage to your expectations. Positives: #1 Cheap. We were there the week between Christmas and New Years and it was affordable. #2 the shuttle to town and the ski resorts. very useful Negatives #1 The reservation system sucks. My father called and needed a space for 5. He was told he got one bedroom with 2 Queen beds and then a pullout couch. Lo and Below, we get into the room and there is a one queen bed and the pullout couch. There is also no availability anywhere else in the hotel. We were able to get a cot but still... Both myself and another member of my family heard front desk workers ask people if they were willing to downgrade to smaller rooms because they were overbooked. #2 said pullout bed was awful The location is about a mile walk from the center of town and I walked it a few times. I didn't mind it. This also means there is not as much traffic around the hotel either. This is a family friendly hotel so keep that in mind if you're a couple in Park City for a romantic trip. Stayed over a week @ Park Regency late Feb. to early March, 2018. This smallish 3 story-with elevator-hotel has ample parking, a variety of room combinations to choose from, a lot of the units have mountain views, all the units have balconies & wood burning fireplaces & the hotel has a good in-town location. As of a few years ago wood burning fireplaces were banned from new construction in PC bec. of the particulates released by using wood; but, existing ones were allowed to continue as wood burning. The front desk sells $5 bundles of very dry wood. The convenience store across the street also sells wood, I thought for a little less & a little more wood & not as bone dry. I believe guests have the option to also use the grocery store wax logs in the fireplaces--they just need to get them. The shuttle could help with that. The hotel has a pool, a hot tub, a laundry, a grill area, a couple of computers for guest use in the lobby, helpful front desk folks, and a shuttle van for transportation in town. I found the staff including the van drivers & the cleaning crew to be friendly and ready to assist me. The shuttle van drivers helped me through getting the flu while there. So, I would say the helpful staff there is the hotel's biggest asset; and, don't forget to give my shuttle guys a little tip, they deserve it. read more

I was not happy with my experience at this hotel. When I went to shower, there was no hot water. The cleaning was not great - my brother found that someone had not flushed his toilet and the housekeeper obviously hadn't cleaned the toilet. I found a decent sized spider web in the kitchen. The furnishings were outdated and somewhat uncomfortable. There were no rugs on the cold tiled floor. The paper products were like sandpaper. I would not recommend this place for someone looking for a comfortable getaway - afterward, you'll be looking for a getaway from this hotel! read more

The Park Regency has 1, 1 1/2, & 2 bedroom condominiums. All of their rooms are non- smoking. The 1 1/2 bedroom has a full bedroom & the 1/2 portion is a bunk bed nook. The 2 bedrooms have 2 full bedrooms with a TV in each bedroom & a full bathroom off the master. The fireplace is wood & the resort supplies the first bundle complimentary. There is a nice balcony off each room. The staff is helpful, friendly, & responsive to meet the needs of the guests. It is an older resort, but well maintained & clean. The furnishings are light colored & give a bright feeling. The 3rd floor has been completely remodeled with new stainless steel appliances & tile & they are completing the remainder of the floors. Though the entire resort is key carded & secure, there is an open air courtyard in the middle. The grounds are well kept & clean & well groomed. The location is ideal being right in Park City. The shuttle is a nice feature. I would go back to the Park Regency again. There is a solarium pool & hot tub & BBQs, exercise room, ski storage. Price compared to the high end resorts in Park City, it is a bargain. It is a solid 4 star or hospitality resort. If you are looking for high end accommodations, this resort is not for you. If you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodations in a popular international destination, this is the place! read more
