    ***ADDED REVIEW*** Starting to feel like a Karen because I left a review before but I don't care cuz i'm ACTUALLY livid. They assigned 8 out of the roughly 12 (guess-estimating) parking spots to the employees now. As if it wasn't hard enough to invite guests because guest parking is still ALWAYS filled with residents parking there-yup they're still doing it. Yeah, definitely not going to renew our lease. Also, totaled car is STILL there. DON'T move here if you plan to have guests/celebrations/parties unless you don't mind having your guests park across the street in residential and have to walk through a traffic light. What a joke.

It started out ok, but it is horrible living in our apartment where grace is the office Manager. Usually people receive notices, I on the other hand received messages, like if i'm being yelled at by my mother and threats of her gathering evidence against me. Do not come here if you have a child with a disability, because she does not verify any noise complaints. She once messaged hey! I'm receiving messages of noise from your way, when it was the apartment in the next bldg infront of us. Told her wrong apt. Maybe you should go out and verify. The times I have complained about noise, I received no response from her until hours later when there was nothing to investigate, So yes this place is BS! We were always planning on leaving when our son reached HS, but Stauffer Middle where my son goes to which is across and down the street, is not worth it, this school has bullys and the school does nothing to the attacker. He is on independent studies and now has his work done through ipad. My son doesn't even feel comfortable going to the pool, which is directly in front of her apt. Because its 2 per household to be at the pool. I had my son and nephew there ONE TIME the first year and she came out like if she was ICE when me and my brother were there to keep an eye on them in the pool, mind you i was showing my brother the complex as well and after that, came out told me i couldn't drink or eat out by the pool yet i was at a table and had a bag with our stuff and we pick up after ourselves, so those rules in itself should stop you if you want an apt with a pool. He's probably swam 2 times in the pool out of 2 yrs here. Yet I witnessed a pool full of children and nothing was done. We are a family of 3, paying a 2 bedroom and all 3 can't be out there to enjoy what we pay for unless its 2 at a time? We live in the back bldg so how can i watch my kid and nephew from back there? It's a joke that they have someone like this as the property Office Manager, I am already waiting for a response from Marco who is her boss to this matter, but felt as a Tenant still living here currently, that you know this before risking coming here to waste your money to deal with a headache like her and a school like Stauffer Middle. After that our account is locked and at first said, Evicted No Access! Like we didn't even get a notice. Also a man showed up to do electrical work banging on the door and I had to tell him no, because we didn't receive a notice and our trust level here is null. I wouldn't recommend here also, because the floors are so uneven our bed in the room leans more on one side then the other making it horrible to sleep and we have a really good bed. Also we live on the 1st floor and the ceiling creaking level is out of control when the neighbors walk in the upstairs apt. Proof is in the screenshots I'm sharing. Happy House Hunting Peeps!

    I have lived in this apartment for many years. And I've always had issues with the former manager…read moreJose who was not prompt in answering my texts and calls. I would call and call and he wouldn't answer. He used to promise me that workers would come to the apartment to fix my bathrooms and reglaze them and for weeks no one showed up. I would call him to find out but he ignored me. I am relieved that he is gone now because I believe things will be better now. I always go to Adriana for my problems regarding the apartment even before. So, I am glad that she is handling the apartment now. I also don't like the smell of the water in the laundry room. It smells bad. Also the machines eat my money and I don't get them back. But I am thankful that this apartment is so close to my sons' school. I feel at ease because I am close to them when emergency happens. I also like that the apartment is close to the shopping mall and new stores in Downey. Everything is accessible. I also appreciate the online work order procedure. Now my concerns get acted on in a timely manner.

Celebration includes trick or treating, music, raffles, prices, Photo Booth, food, and of course enjoying each other's company. From toddlers to teenagers, you can see all children having fun; and all parents enjoying the moment. Thank you Adriana for always going the extra mile. Best manager ever!

    I would think twice before renting here…read more Recently we discovered that we had been charged $15/month for "forced renters insurance" for the past 7 months ($105 total), even though we already had an active renters insurance policy the entire time. Our policy never lapsed. Management explained that because we didn't re-submit proof of insurance when we renewed our lease through their compliance portal, their system automatically enrolled us in a third-party liability program and added the monthly charge. While that may technically follow their lease wording, we never received any notice or warning that there was an issue with our insurance or that we were being auto-enrolled and charged each month. When we contacted the office and showed that our policy had been valid the entire time, they still refused to credit the charges and instead said it was handled by the third-party company they use. Another frustrating issue is that tenants are also required to pay about $7.50 per month for Luxer One package lockers. In practice, delivery drivers rarely use the lockers and most packages are still left at our door, so residents are forced to pay for a service that often isn't actually used. The amount here was only $105, but it's the principle. Being charged for something without any notice while already maintaining the required insurance was disappointing, and the refusal to work with us on it left a bad impression. If you're considering renting here, make sure you read every fee carefully and monitor your account closely because additional charges can be added if paperwork isn't resubmitted exactly the way their system requires.
