I personally worked with Bernice and she knocked it out of the park! Bernice acted like my wedding coach, someone to walk me through the rules of the game and explain to me what exactly we need to do! Bernice was able to control my family on my wedding day, something I didn't want to personally stress over. Due to Covid and a 3 week hospital stay of my father in law, I had 2.5 weeks to plan a 120 person 100% fully vaccinated wedding and I wouldn't have been able to finish it without the help of bride not zilla! Bernice was not only extremely organized, she was professional and extremely caring. When I needed to vent about the craziness of wedding planning, she was there. When my mom needed a phone charger on the wedding day, Bernice had one ready to go! When I didn't have the time or the bandwidth to take care of my DJ's song request for the parents' dance or the grand entrance, Bernice was there to wrap everything up with my bridal party, my parents, and my in laws. I have a thing about people being prompt and Bernice was very prompt. She was never late to any of our meetings and she stayed after to chat with my husband and I too! I made sure all my vendors were seasoned and professional; I also made sure all my wedding vendors were genuinely good people. You will NOT regret hiring Bride Not Zilla as your wedding coordinator. I only thought we needed a 30 min cocktail hour but Bernice was able to give me the pros and cons of extending it. In the end we were glad we extended it to an hour. I didn't have time to eat before cocktail hour so Bernice snuck my husband and I some hors d'oeuvres to eat on the walk back from our romantic couples pictures. She was even there to do a veil toss for my photographer. Bonus! We didn't know how much "average" was to spend on each vendor, Bernice was able to give us a good range. Everyone says to "spend more" on certain vendors like photographers but they never tell you how much they actually spend or how much a normal fee is. We were able to clarify with Bride Not Zilla how much each service averaged. It saved us a lot of money since we had an accurate estimate on fees.

I could not have imagined my wedding day to be more perfect. She is so organized and always checked in with us to make sure we were stress free during planning and even gave us great recommendations we ended up using for vendors. Our wedding was a partly DIY "backyard" wedding at our ranch, and with her help it was seamless from start to beginning, and everyone raved about how much fun they had and loved everything. Thank you Bernice & team for helping us make our wedding day/night unforgettable!

I saw this really beautiful at home office on Pinterest and saw a beautiful display of paper flowers on the office wall and thought "wow I think I actually know someone who might be able to crest this" and I called up Steph. She was quick, really sweet and so easy to work with. Sent her the photo and got a damn near perfect replica of what I sent her. I even gave her specific colors I wanted the flowers to be and she not only perfected the order she went above and beyond and enhanced the look with pretty green leaves and extra flowers of different sizes. Blown away by the detail and all the effort she put into these flowers. The paper was so sturdy I was able to use push pins to hang them up on my wall and with the magic of zoom cameras it made it easy to put up the flowers so they sit perfectly within my zoom frame. I wanted the flowers to be seen in my background for work calls and boy did they look fantastic. I got so many compliments on how beautiful they looked and so many of my coworkers reached out asking about where they came from and how they'd never seen such flowers. Steph really made me stand out and was just so grateful that she took on such an odd and out of the box order but that just shows how flexible creative and outstanding her talents really are. If you have any small or large requests, Steph will be able to deliver 1000% every time. Her work is unlike anything I've seen on the market and no one will be as generous and genuine in supporting your dreams. Weddings, baby showers, graduation parties, you name it... she can do it and do it beautifully. I'll be sending all my friends to her for their next DIY project!

This was my first visit to the Long Beach Terrace Theater to see Joe Satriani and Steve Vai touring…read moretogether as the SatchVai band. The venue has its own multi-story parking lot which is very easy to access, and only charges $15. We arrived thirty minutes before the show, and there was no line to enter the parking lot with many parking spaces available. After a very short walk across the garage and going up a one-story staircase (there is also an elevator), we were on the ground level with the theater. Unfortunately, you have to walk all the way around the large fountain area to reach the security checkpoint and entrance. There was no line and we passed through quickly. Luckily, after the show, you could walk directly to the garage without having to go around again. The theater seats around 3,000 people and has floor, loge, and balcony sections. It is very clean and has a modern feel. The main lobby is spacious and has high ceilings. There are bars on all levels, and some basic food items downstairs. There were also a few food and drink spots in front outside. The concert hall has very high ceilings and is also very modern. We sat on the floor in the second row. The seats were padded and comfortable, and the spacing between adjacent seats and between rows was good. The view of the performers was amazing. There was a large projection screen behind the stage, with various video playing throughout the show. There was some fog on the stage, and the lighting was good, but nothing exceptional. Sitting so close is great for pictures and videos, and you're oblivious to the other 2,900 people in the theater. It almost feels like you're getting a private performance. However, the sound can be hit or miss depending on the performers' preferences and venue's audio setup. The main speaker arrays here hang directly over the first few rows in front of the stage. For the opening band, we couldn't hear any of the guitars at all. Joe played almost completely through his on-stage amps only and the sound was perfect. Steve's mix was half through his amps and half through the main speaker arrays. We could hear his guitar, but not nearly as well as Joe's. It's not the venues fault, the sound is usually optimized for the majority of the theater, and the first few rows may suffer. The opening band was Animals As Leaders. I've seen them a few times over the years as an opener for Steve Vai. They are an instrumental guitar focused band with the unique characteristic that both guitarists use eight-string guitars which gives them a unique sound. Joe Satriani and Steve Vai started out the main show together. They are two of the greatest rock guitar legends to ever play. They played a few original songs together that they co-wrote, followed by both individual and joint performances of a dozen of their popular songs. Steve's unique three-neck Hydra guitar made an appearance. There was also an encore with cover versions of Rock and Roll and Born to be Wild. I've seen Joe 25 times and Steve seven times, and I'll continue to go to every show when they are in town. In between the opening band and the main show, we immediately went to use the ground level restrooms which are downstairs. The lines were already extremely long. On a whim, we went upstairs and the restrooms on both sides initially had very short lines. After only five minutes, the upstairs lines also started to get long. Go upstairs fast and you should have a much shorter wait. The show was great and I really liked the venue. It's modern, clean, and comfortable, with various amenities. The sound mix was a mixed bag sitting in front, but it wasn't the venue's fault. If you want the best chance of a good sound mix, don't sit up front. Parking was very convenient and very affordable. I would definitely come see a show here again. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

The thing that stood out was the nice courtyard decor of water fountains. The vibe radiated as the fountains were sparkling, giving the ambiance of a fresh cool entertainment settimg. The outside really looks cool at night because of the lighting structure. I have been here many times before. Experiencing both indoor and outdoor venue entertainment. Just to name a few.. Jokoy, air supply, 90s old school R&B funk jam , Franki Valli and the list goes on. Its not very big inside, in comparison to Crypto or the inglewood forum but it does its job. Stadium seating could use some work if they decide to remodel in the future. Its a clean place with great acoustics. The only negative thing I have to say is the sale of alcoholic beverages! The venue shuts down completely early. Like 9pmsh! Unacceptable for an entertainment venue. I recommend watching concerts or any type of events in this area. Plenty of parking in the parking structure and surrounding businesses nearby. Long Beach is beautiful.

My husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera, but she instantly made us feel at ease from the moment we met her. For our engagement photos, she knew the exact vibe of photo we we were looking for and directed us in a fun and professional way. We knew we were in good hands! On the wedding day, we couldn't have asked for anything better. She had a great relationship with our planner and other vendors and was perfectly on time. We had gone over our (extensive) shot list beforehand and she stayed right on schedule. She was by our side all night and even made sure I had a drink in my hand when the dancing started! We were throwing our engagement party when our wedding planner recommended having a professional photographer at the event. I am always wary of professional WEDDING photographers, because there's nothing that makes me cringe more than cheesy, posed, and so visibly staged pictures. We met Jenna as we were walking into the party and she was very sweet, especially when I told her no staged photos and I wanted to have a good time/not make the entire evening a photoshoot. Within 5 minutes she captured the most beautiful photos of me and my now husband. NOT ONLY THAT. Every single picture that she took during that party of the guests was not only incredible each one was frame worthy. After the event, everyone from the party was like "what a fun event, but that photographer?! She was SO GOOD! Are you going to hire her for your wedding?" At the time, the answer was no. Before we had even met Jenna, almost like the day after we got engaged we had hired a photographer who was a referral from a friend of ours. My heart was broken. She highlighted the most magical moments of the party and I was devastated that she was not going to be with us on our special day. Alas, we had already paid HALF of the deposit for the slated wedding photographer. We lost the deposit so we could work with Jenna. We went to do our test shoot with the wedding photographer (not Jenna), and it was my worst nightmare. Staged photos, with the promise that we would look great once we saw the edits. After 1.5 hours, 3 outfit changes, and too many forced smiles, I felt uneasy. Then I saw the photos. This is no offense to him, as he is a great photographer, but his style was not for me. We LITERALLY lost our deposit so that we could work with Jenna and it was by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning. Jenna made an effort to get to know us as people. I swear I feel like we talked at least 2/3 times a week. She supported us as I sobbed on the phone the weekend the world shut down. We postponed our wedding 4 times, then eventually had it cancelled by the venue. We decided to get married in the backyard, and reduce our headcount from 250, to 50. Jenna was there every step of the way and was BEYOND compassionate and empathetic towards our situation.  Jenna genuinely loves her job. She loves people and knows how to capture a moment. She honestly feels like family at this point, and we really all LIVED and rode the roller coaster that was 2020. Did I mention that she shot our rehearsal and wedding and within 24 hours turned around 10 sneak peeks and 4 days later 169 images?!! I really call her my friend more than a photographer and I feel so lucky that I got to meet her! Thank you Jenna!
