Never received an attitude. there are always wait times at offices I can never wrap my head around that complaint. 15 years ago my son had a traumatic eye injury and the ambulance took us there first and waited for instructions. If it wasn't for this office my son would have an artificial eye right now. I'm a firm believer in you get what you give. I've never ever received an attitude or an unpleasant visit here. In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. I actually had to press the Spanish prompt to finally get a Spanish-speaking customer service operator to help me(and no I don't speak Spanish but this was faster) They don't post your results, and they don't even follow up if they hang up on you by "accident." This place needs serious revamping! It's not family-friendly, nor do they care about their customers' satisfaction. And doctors/provider turnover is rapid! Every year, doctors leave! Your child doesn't have a steady doctor, and there is no continuity. I told him I've been giving her Ibruprophen every six hours since then and want to know what to do. He tells me I need to wait 5 DAYS before an x ray can be done but to continue Ibruprophen. He listened to her breathing with the stethoscope and gave us some herbal tea packets!! I got home and the first thing my husband asked "did he test her for strep or the flu? I said "no he didn't" and HE WAS NOT satisfied with the Dr's service, so we DROVE TO CITYMD and GUESS WHAT?? THEY DID THE RIGHT THING AND ACTUALLY TESTED MY DAUGHTER FOR THE FLU..and SHE WAS POSITIVE FOR INFLUENZA B so they immediately prescribed Tumiflu and we picked up the prescription and started her on it immediately. Such a shame he didn't care enough to take 10 minutes to give her a simple test with a swab in her nose. Shameful!!
