Turns out the gun was stolen, purchased by the pawn shop, and then sold to me. Obviously this pawn shop does not run serial numbers on firearms before purchasing/selling so use caution when buying from these people. I was forced to turn the gun over the police and when I went back to the pawn shop to work it out, I was told there was nothing they could do for me and would not refund my money or replace the firearm.

brought 2 items in to sell them brand new in a box unopened factory sealed worth 500$ brand new and…read morethe other worth 400$ brand new. one of the items the lady ( im guess is the boss or owner idk / idc ) grabs the box and then proceeds to cut the tape on one side before i stopped her. she said they have to open it to make sure everything is in it and that it works and its not something else. ok i can understand the last part but she never gave me a price before that and i never accepted. for her to just grab the box and try to open it so it looks like it had been used after she would have been done. she told me because i have the item it is no longer new and is considered a used item and they will give me 80$ for it. when i said im not doing selling for that price her response was better 80$ than zero. i have to say that place has really gone down, treating customers like they stupid and hard up for money like a crack head. they should be ashamed.

Two of the guys were standing around and when others came in they decided to help them instead. The first two trips the customer service was not great as they were very unfriendly but he decided to try again today and we won't be back. We Will drive to Dothan or visit the other Pawn store in town who are by far more friendly and helpful. Do not recommend going to them if you want good service.
