With insurance you could buy and the gates that open to let you in..Now I've noticed in the last few months August to October became worst not only did climate controlled failed with water I found in a few totes that are damged by mold to the storage door being damaged (someone trying to break it open) this place should check thier indoor camera's!!! I reported a few months backabout it to the office and the manager of the unit. As it wasn't at all addressed. Also the front gate was disabled( left.open all day without working).. the .poor rresponse when I left multiple messages gave me the red flag to leave... I left my unit and called in I spoken to the answering company they use and told them of my situation and will follow up on damages of mold and mildew which shocks me in a climate controlked facility...I found a better storage company that has every day cameras that work and answer my phone calls with onsight people. They are quick to let you leave because they don't address what has Rajeev place nor fix the issues or addressing your needs not good at all.. take the hint. Be heavily insured at this location.. in searching I found a better much larger unit for the same price. Shop around.. never again from these places say they value you or your business with them. A bill to come on the mold damage this stuff has to be addressed.

I couldn't have been happier to work with this company because of Sam. Others I tried to do business with were not as accommodating and a few never called back.     Deborah and Isabel were life savers. My car broke down n a local service station promised my car…read morewould be fixed in 1 day but by day 3 it wasn't. Not only did this place not update me but ordered the wrong part. I missed 3 days of work, my family had to leave for their jobs. Stranded without a vehicle , I search for a car to rent--- no luck! I spoke with Deborah at Main Street Storage. Deborah was very accommodating and helpful. Deborah was sensitive to the fact that I was stranded and missing work. She helped me get home affordably. I appreciate everything she did. Highly recommend Main Street Storage.

    WORST STORAGE FACILITY!!! We will ABSOLUTELY NEVER EVER EVER…read moreuse this place nor will we ever tell any else to use them. In fact, we are telling everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP. Might as well just throw all of your items in the trash and not waste money on getting them ruined. We rented 1 10x20 and 1 10x10 unit for OVER a year. In order to keep our items in good condition, we paid a premium price ( Over $400 a month and $5,500 for the year) for both of these units to be in a CLIMATE CONTROLLED BUILDING. This was HARDLY THE CASE, we complained numerous times about the extreme heat in one unit that ruined nearly 8k worth of furniture. The solution offered was , " Move your stuff to a different unit". Never were we offered any help in getting that done, no reduction in monthly rate, no rebate at all... NOTHING. Basically...stay where u are because we can't do anything about it or move to another unit about a block away. The other unit we were renting was full of MICE!!! The resolution was to put 1 mouse trap in the unit...... it was never changed , checked , followed up on, again NOTHING!!!! Opening those boxes was absolutely disgusting. Over 25 boxes covered in mouse piss and poop. Items in boxes shredded and covered in piss and poop, pictures ruined, furniture moldy., DEAD MICE IN THE BOXES.... ...another 7k , at least, lost in that unit. Needless to say, we are FURIOUS with this facility. We tried to reach out to the management of the facility over 10 times, but, NOT ONCE were our concerns ever responded to nor did they even bother to acknowledge our concerns. When we noticed the issues with the units we 1) Offered to be at the facility, at the time and date, of their choosing , 2) Offered to be there anytime to open the unit for them to inspect, and 3) even offered to leave a key with them.......yet every attempt we made to get this resolved was IGNORED!!!!! When we were finally able to get our items out of that DUMP OF A FACILITY, we never saw 1 person from the facility...however, the minute we pulled out of the facility, we received a call from someone at the facility saying " Oh we see that you have vacated the units, are you out now"? How was everything...... CLUELESS STAFF!!!! This facility is a complete disaster!! As i said from the start......DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS DUMP OF A SO CALLED STORAGE FACILITY!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!     I used this place years ago to pack and ship some over-shopping I did while on vacation in Cape…read moreMay. They were friendly, efficient, and they got my things to me in good shape. This last trip, I suggested them for my friend from No. Ireland, as she had a lot of gifts to ship back home. The place warned us it would be expensive, and it was. My friend could have bought extra suitcases and shipped the goods in them for a whole lot less. Food for thought if you're trying to decide between the two options. This place is a little difficult to find. It's a self-storage facility kind of off the road, so if you're not paying attention, you can easily pass it - which we did. If you start in Cape May, and end up in Villas, you've gone too far! *l* I'm not sure how to describe it, but the two people working there took a little while to warm up after some awkward standing around and waiting for someone to speak to us. They weren't very informative of what they needed from us once they found out the package was going overseas. (Not all of us are savvy on the ways of overseas shipping!) It would have been nice for them to say something like, "Ok, you're shipping all this stuff from here to such-and-such... we're going to need an itemization of contents and their costs" - and anything else they would have wanted from us. Thank goodness we happened to ask a question about it before they had wrapped everything up, else, we'd have had to unpack everything to make the list for them. Eventually, after a while, they became more friendly. To be fair, we did come in at the last part of their day, and kept them after closing... but still... it would have been nice to have the customer service repartee from the get-go. Like I said, this place did a good job for me years ago. This time? Maybe not so much. They wrapped everything up so quickly, I had wondered if it was all secure at the time. I decided to let go of my worries and put faith in the fact they did this kind of packing all the time, and I should just let them do what they do. But, my intuition ruled out and my friend says one of her items was broken upon arrival. Given all that was packed, and how far it had to go, that's actually a good ratio. But, I'm sad for my friend, and I hope that when she contacts the business, they will do her right as the package was insured. Given her strong accent, and unknowing ways of dealing with this type of situation, (from overseas, no less!) I can only cross my fingers.

    The management team of ASK has allowed a door to be unsecured for over 60 days despite repeated…read morecalls and complaints. They're "waiting for the insurance to process" from the winter storm on 1/23/16. They failed to notify any building tenants of the issue and told me "I don't see the problem, we have cameras". When asked what happens when someone enters the building and cuts tenants locks, maintenance supervisor Jose told me, "that would be covered by insurance". Regional Cynthia asked me to be patient over the weekend and promised to follow up. To date has not called back. Numbers for her have no voicemail. Unprofessional, unacceptable. These people have NO intention of keeping your items "SAFE".
