There's wonderful aroma to breathe in the second you open the door. Something that just can't be bottled, nature at it's best, makes me smile anyways. My family has purchased everything from wedding flowers, funeral arrangements to the boutonnière and the corsage I brought my date at my high school graduation. Today I was in and purchased a wonderful Christmas wreath for my Grandparents grave. I always like to get something unique like my Baba and this year Rhea suggested one with Magnolias blossoms w/leaves and pine cones. Perfect! The owner is a wonderful woman wrapped my wreath in cellophane and attach to a wreath stand (to protect it from the weather) all I had to do was push it into the ground at the cemetery. What more could I ask? There's always a great variety of house plants too so I like to pick up a little treat for myself. Today I purchased a Japanese fern for only $8 I'd recommend anyone needing Christmas arrangements to make their way to Rheas quick!

I did a quick Yelp search and found a few options - the photos of Helen Blakey's arrangements were most in line with my aesthetic and very reasonably priced for delivery. I ordered the Teleflora's Pretty Pastel Bouquet - Standard and made a quick note in the comments section about what I liked most about the arrangement. The online system was very simple to use (it looks like many florists use the same system) and I placed the order on Mar 10, 3 days in advance of the desired delivery date of Mar 13. I was a little apprehensive about placing an online order with a florist without any verbal/email communication but decided to give it a chance - and am so glad I did! The arrangement my mom received was absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than I expected!! I didn't specify a delivery time - the arrangement was delivered in the afternoon on the day requested. My mom has texted me multiple times about how much she loves the flowers and even said (and I quote): "I think these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever received in my life. The pleasant colours, the aroma, the charming delivery driver, the ribbons on the packaging ..." The arrangement & overall experience brought her so much joy! In addition to making a note on the delivery card to deliver as "late as possible," the individual that delivered the bouquet asked the security guard of the building to hold on to the bouquet and contact the recipient at a later time than when they actually dropped it off. They set the expectation that the flowers would not be delivered same day, and it was totally understandable as it was the day before Christmas. It was so nice of them to tell me ASAP and gave me a realistic update, and made sure that they would be delivered on Dec 27th. On Dec 26th, I found out that my co worker has already gone home from the hospital and I needed to update the delivery address, so I emailed & left them a voicemail. Even though the shop was closed for the holidays, I still received an email confirmation about an hour later and I was rest assured that address would be updated.
