Upon arrival they gave me an iPad with 10 forms per kid to fill out (I have a 2 year old with me). This is something I should have been able to do at home before but I was never informed of this. If you can I highly recommend doing that! The first time I brought my kids to the appointment they told me they hadn't verified my insurance and I would have to do cash pay or reschedule. The blame was pushed onto me because they had called me the day before to get the insurance ID but I was at the doctor and couldn't do it at that time. They NEVER told me that my appointment would need to be rescheduled if they couldn't get the info, and they made ZERO other attempts to contact me. Now we have waited an hour to be seen. The waiting room is full of people and children and our appointment was an hour ago. They really need to fix the way they are running things up front.

Fast forward to today - 2021 - big brother is now 19 and has gone through two orthodontia treatments - he still wears a nighttime retainer - and is 100% cavity free after attending Dr. Chou's practice during his youth. These are corporate dental box stores that use dentists that graduate from wherever and speak whatever languages and treat you the same way once they get you into the dental chair. The Dental Hygienists are the same way. All of them are on a quota system and it's all about the dollar system for these dental box stores and not your care. Your care doesn't matter, but your dollars do. May 15 I went in for a right side deep cleaning. They took me back and numb my right side up. Then the hygienist left and took care of someone else. When she came back the numbness was wearing off and the Dentist had to re-numb me again. This is Saturday and a portion of my right lip and jaw area is still numb. My right jaw area swollen and lower right jaw area is bruised (my right side jaw stayed bruised for two weeks). I expect and demand professionally trained dental professionals to provide care when I pay top dollar when I for their services. Not be a training tool for apprentice level corporate clearing house transfer stations. I texted photos to the Bella Smiles to verify my what I said. I'll cancel my next Friday appointment to have my left side deep cleaning done. Aren't there any good dentists in the surrounding area?

Dad not only lost a front tooth over the holidays, but he is dealing with years of neglect, gum disease, etc... Coupled with some medical issues that have resulted in very limited mobility for him, he was naturally quite anxious about this appointment. Fortunately, I am very pleased to say that the experience could not have gone better. Dr. Williams and his Dental Assistant, Blakey, were incredibly down-to-earth and patient with my Dad. They took the time to listen to him, answer his questions and explain everything in detail. It was never uncomfortable or awkward. It is truly my pleasure to leave this review and sincerely thank you both (and your full staff) for such a wonderful experience.
