I work far away and I have to get up really early in order to make it on time. I was able to come in at 7 am and file my taxes and make it to work on time. They only charged me $60 since all I had was a W-2. It was way less than what I paid last year at a different place. I'm very happy now that I've found my new tax guy who was really nice and also happens to work near where I live. I will be coming back next year. Also on a random note, they take donations for a dog rescue in Armenia which is pretty cool. They have a small donation box on the table. It's nice to see small businesses helping others in need.

Now, because of how they handled my return, I'm dealing with the Franchise Tax Board saying I owe money. So not only did I not get my refund, I'm now stuck cleaning up a mess they created. When I asked for basic documentation like a copy of MY OWN tax return they refused to give it to me. There is no excuse for that. You file taxes under someone's name but won't provide them a copy? That alone should tell you everything. They also claimed they had proof of where my refund was sent, but what they provided wasn't even mine they were mixing my information up with my mother's. That is a serious and careless error when you're handling people's financial records. And instead of fixing it, Rose, who calls herself the "president," was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me she would "no longer entertain" my messages, said to "do as I want," and told me not to contact their office again all because I asked for answers about my own taxes. Then she had the nerve to tell me to go deal with the FTB myself or hire another accountant basically telling me to spend more money to fix THEIR mistake. This is not just bad service it's irresponsible. Mixing up client information, refusing to provide records, and shutting down communication when questioned is unacceptable. Hiring this company to clean my new home before move-in was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever…read moremade. As a proud Armenian, I chose them over others because they were a female-owned Armenian business and because they promised to use steam cleaners for a true deep clean of walls, cupboards, the oven, and more. I trusted them completely. That trust was betrayed from the moment they arrived. The cleaners immediately complained about their previous client not giving them breaks, so I offered to get them food and coffee. When I returned, they were smoking outside my back door with the doors and windows wide open. Later, while I stepped out to take a work call, I found them smoking again. They also told me the job would take longer than the three-hour minimum I was quoted. Wanting to be fair, and never having hired cleaners before, I trusted them again. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of a workday--on calls and stepping outside often--so I wasn't able to properly monitor them. By the time they rushed out around the four-hour mark, I only gave the house a quick glance, assuming the work was done. It wasn't until my partner arrived and looked more closely that the shocking reality was revealed: No steam cleaners were used at all. Dust remained on doorframes and the tops of cupboards. Sticky chemical residue covered walls, shelving, and windowsills. Toilets were still stained (later removed easily with bleach). The whole house reeked of smoke. Worst of all, harsh chemicals had been used on my stainless steel oven and backsplash, permanently destroying the finish. The oven knobs peeled, and the backsplash was left scarred and stained. When I contacted the owner, she first denied everything, then tried to blame me for not warning them that I had stainless steel appliances--as if that is a client's responsibility. After I sent photos, she backtracked and offered three free hours of cleaning. But by then it was too late--we had already re-cleaned the home ourselves, and the appliances were beyond repair. A couple of months later, when I followed up, the owner refused to honor her promise. She even admitted they didn't own steam cleaners at all--the very reason I had hired them in the first place. Realizing her mistake, she begged me not to post a bad review and instead offered a single free hour. I didn't write the complaint immediately because I wanted to see whether she would ever stand by her word. After weeks of stalling, she finally called late on a Friday evening at 7pm, saying someone could come the next morning. When I explained that such short notice was impossible, she essentially told me to "forget it." This company lied to me repeatedly, ruined my appliances, left my home dirty and reeking of smoke, and treated me like a fool for trusting them. What should have been a straightforward, professional service turned into one of the most disappointing, disrespectful, and dishonest experiences I've ever had. They failed to deliver the service advertised, caused permanent damage, and engaged in blatant dishonesty.
