I was introduced to Inis' Fragrances of Ireland after reading my friend Klaus-Dieter of…read moreDüsseldorf's review. K-D and I share a love for our ancestral home. So I went online a made a small purchase of a travel bag /voyager set of goodies and 8 oz shampoo. I usually use L'Oreal hair products and found my shampoo to be of the same quality. And like Anita Roddick's The Body Shop, it doesn't do animal testing of its products. The next time you get stinging soap in your eye, think about that and take the pledge to avoid companies that do. My Inis shampoo had a nice fragrance, or so I was told by my better half. The scent stayed a long time, but didn't overwhelm those around me. I thought it was a seaside and mildly citrus. Anyway, thank you Klaus-Dieter for your review and introducing me (us) to Inis and https://www.fragrancesofireland.com/

My sweetheart noticed a lovely big display of Inis products at a new beach shop that opened…read morerecently. It had several of their products on a large display with testers for most of them. She tried the cologne and was really find of the fragrance and with Mother's Day just around the corner I knew what my mission was :-) Of course, it caught her because this Irish company's signature scent "Inis" the Energy of the Sea, was inspired at Roundstone Beach on the western coast of Ireland. Inis is the Irish word for 'island'. it really is a lovely unique fragrance. I've heard that some people say the scent of Inis makes them feel close to the sea, no matter where they are. Well there you are, definitely, a nose catcher and the packaging is eye-catching as well. :-) These folks have been creating perfumes and toiletries inspired by the magic, beauty, and nature of Ireland for over thirty years. Hey, they do the operations from a converted farmhouse in County Wicklow, pretty cool! I love that these folks are seriously dedicated to the protection. conservation and better understanding of whales and dolphins in Irish waters and around the world. Their work helps ensure that the seas of the world will continue to be a source of delight and joy for generations to come. Also very cool! So I got a big 'ol bottle of Inis cologne for my sweetheart Mother's Day and she was pleasantly surprised and she really, really likes it. Mission accomplished :-) Bottom line: This stuff smells great and comes in a pretty bottle and that's the extent of what I know about fragrances and it's good enough for me and most importantly SHE LIKES IT :-) https://www.inisfragrance.com/
