Everytime my son comes home. Do you want to get somethingto eat?…read more We get two of their Philly Cheesesteaks. Double provolone, onion, peppers, and mushrooms for me. I say I cant't eat all of that - but I do! Maybe the best sandwich in Nashville. Thank you for the effort of making a great sandwich - every time!!!!

Shout out to my girl Brooklyn (Yelp elite girly) who has visited this establishment multiple times…read moreand persuaded my visit. I will say if you're deep into Nashville prepare to drive a little ways to reach it. But it was worth the drive. Staff here were super friendly and welcoming. Being this my first time they were willing to help me navigate what to get to get a taste of a little of everything. I ordered a kids tropical water ice 5/5. Definitely needed considering how hot it was outside this day. Philly cheese with steak....this right here was buss'n. They stuck their foot in this sandwich. When I mean it was worth the drive, IT WAS! The chicken fries were good and enough to split with 2 others. I prefer the steak over the chicken, but you can't go wrong with either. It's a Philly Thing definitely did their thing. I'll be back

Tried to order on a Friday evening and was told their "system" was down. I said I could pay cash,…read morethey said they couldn't "do anything". There were 3-4 people all standing around, shortly after I left someone else came up and somehow persuaded them to take his order. The online kiosk appeared to be operational. I may have been able to order online (the website appeared to be working but I didn't finalize my order). I was mad at this point and didn't want to make the workers do their jobs- they were obviously very busy standing around. I'm mainly leaving this review because I'd want to know this took place if I owned the business. I've had their food before elsewhere and it was always solid. Attached is the crew that was "working" when I attempted to place my order 30 min ago

We both had a side of zucchini sticks. Both were delicious and the portions are enormous. I'm a big eater and had to eat the cheese steak in two sittings. I was surprised how good/fresh the bread was. One order of zucchini sticks is enough for two people. Kind, family owned local business. We'll be back.

New visit...new order (for me) and an update that sheds a brighter light on this shop…read more Service: absolutely congenial, courteous, and friendly. (Watched and observed, waiting for my meal; all guests treated very, very well.) New sammie for me: Philly Cheesesteak. Having had these in various and sundry locations virtually all my life, I can attest this one was dynamite. Literally overflowing with meat, just the right amount od cheese (wiz might have been better, but provolone was fine)...beautifully grilled onions, mushrooms (not in Philly usually..but my call here), spicy peppers on a soft roll. Fresh cut fries...akin to In & Out....very tasty. (Optional cheese dip...not for me.....but maybe during another visit. My wife had the grilled veggie....and let me taste it. Wow! That was very savory, indeed!

When I first moved to this area of Nashville and discovered there was a Penn Station close, I was…read moresuper pumped! This location, which sits in the Kroger shopping plaza at the Old Hickory and Highway 70 intersection hits the mark for the sub and fries, but misses it relating to cleanliness, condition and service. My go to at any Penn Station is the Pizza Sub, which is a hot sub with pepperoni, smoked ham, provolone, parmesan, oregano and of course, pizza sauce. You can add mushrooms and onions if you want...and of course I make sure to add them both! I always side the sub with fries. Their fries are fresh cut and dropped to order, so always a no brainer! This particular location has some issues with upkeep and service. There are always plenty of folks in the kitchen, easily four each time I have visited, and not one of them seems helpful for the most part. The lobby is usually in some sort of disarray with trash on the floors and tables, along with full trash cans. Just an unappealing spots to grab food in, or at least eat in. The food itself is always top notch, so I have to give props where due. Prices have increased a bit recently with some sandwiches pushing $13 for regular and a medium/regular fry being over $4. I go back and forth on if it's worth it, and to date...it still is, but it is a special treat spot for at this point!
