There are several paths, some are more magical than others. The Dog path is also the main one, which is about 6 Km of a wonderful shaded trail so even during a blazing sun and a hot day like today we could enjoy the shade, cool forest smells and not break swat. PERFECT. The trail is a good dirt/gravel road that even a good stroll can pass there and is perfect for running. Bonus there are benches and garbage bins along the trails. So what can I do here except hiking ? There are Geocaches, disc-golf, swimming pool (was still closed), running, outdoor sport, soccer 9there is a field, fishing. Bottom line a wonderful well maintained park that is a great solution for a fun and short nature escape.

I've actually helped to throw a gorgeous wedding here in the heritage buildings a number of years ago, it was challenging but so memorable and I'd highly recommend it if you're willing to do the work and deal with the constraints of the space (when they reopen). But winter here is my favourite. We love to come here cross-country skiing as a family, being on these huge trails and wild edges of the island. It's always breezy here in the summer, even hot days are soothing, the waves are wild and you just feel a release from the heaviness of the city. All the more appreciated during these crazy times.

I've been training my first year for spartan races and discovered a lot of groups use this park for some serious workouts. They take place all season long! Yes u will find us in short mid winter. Get ur tack shoes on and go try it out.. please make sure you don't try the the obstacles alone.. they can be dangerous.

I used to love this place and go a lot as a teen and young adult. One year I almost drowned,…read moreslipped and was sucked under by the current. Fire and EMT had to use a hovercraft to get to me. In the end I was ok, with minor concussion and lesions but that was the scariest time in my life. I was pinned to the bottom for what seemed like forever, feeling like it was all slipping away to fast, and all i could think about was not being able to pick up my kids on time from their dads. Thank goodness they were not with me that day. No a great place for little kids AT ALL. Just be safe. Mother nature is not one to mess around with. I will give it a 5 because it is a spectacular place, and gorgeous.

I never been to this park but I looked in that area and this park looked nice and seemed to have trails for our kids hiking levels. The kids loved this park, amazing trails, not that hard that go inside the woods or along the river. Lots of scenic stops, and lots of fun in general. What made us very happy is that this park ALLOWS DOGS (a big thing in Quebec). The park is also very popular as a fishing spot, or for mushroom pickers. The entry is about 5-7$ pp and there is free parking, you can see all the details and trails on the park site, they are also very friendly (and speak English) over the phone. Centennial Park is one of the…read morebiggest parks in the area, complete with a hill, a lake (not for swimming), bike/running trails, a well maintained park with swings, slides, jungle gym..etc, and plenty of green space. There is also a large parking lot open year round. It is wonderful during all seasons. During the summer, families come to barbecue and relax, using the bbqs that are at the park. There is a dog park that is great for dog lovers. You can go for a morning jog, play beach volleyball, have a picnic, and more! The possibilities are endless! During the winter, many people come tobogganing, skating and cross country skiing. Year round, there is a public bathroom inside the chalet with water fountains in the same area. It is truly a perfect park for families in the west island who want some green space without driving all the way to Mont Royal.

The kid loved it. The whole play area is so great and innovating! There is free and very accessible parking. Park Charbonneau is going to be a family favorite. Lots of place to play games, soccer and volleyball areas. Even a small mountain during winter! There's the option to have a picnic too! You can also go near the water and feed the ducks!

As with many nice places, users are the problem- especially when they do not understand the concept of sharing a space with others. Most recently, we were enjoying a lovely and peaceful Sunday morning stroll and picnic breakfast when the stillness was shattered by a woman (purportedly teaching some sort of class) braying like a jackass and screaming at the top of her lungs, disturbing other users and the many wonderful ducks which, ultimately, took flight at all the commotion. This place was PERFECT The trails are well kept, some picnic tables/area at the edges but most of the walk is lovely, filled with people but yet feels not crowded, great views to the river, lots of birds and lots of dogs (I love places like this).
