Planned to just have a stroll around this park at the lake. Turned out we just hit the Tulip season that time and that meant a huge and wonderful display of Tulips of all kinds in the park. And it's a quite famous festival, even though due to Covid-19 there weren't any festivities going on, just the Tulips to look at and to enjoy.
Amazing in what shapes and colours Tulips grow. It was just beautiful to roam around this park and look at the flowers. And you can get up-close to them (so close that some people started to damage some displays, pls. be respectful). Got some wonderful pictures out of that afternoon.
In times like these this was really a wonderful, uplifting thing to do. No entrance fee, huge parking lot (paid) right next to and dogs are allowed in the park. And with the nice Lake Geneva and its mountains in the back it makes for a great scenery. read more
