I know it's been difficult to secure a vaccine appointment but sometimes it's just about getting onto these websites at the right time. I had already signed up through the NJ COVID-19 Information Hub and began looking for appointments as soon as possible. I was able to find an appointment for that same week at Holy Name Medical Center aka Richard Rodda Community Center. My first appointment was for February 5th at 5:25pm which was the last appointment slot for the day. I arrived and there were about 20 people ahead of me on the line. I wasn't expecting to wait since each person should have a designated time. I waited about an hour until I finally received my first dose. The vaccines they have depend on which shipment they get. I got the Pfizer vaccine because that's what they had then (this may change depending on when you go). After my first vaccine, they made me an appointment for the second dose 3 weeks later on February 26th at 4:40pm. I must have come on a better day or they really changed up their methods because I was in and out in 10 minutes! I was not expecting that considering what happened during my first appointment but I'm glad they made changes! Thankfully, I am fully vaccinated (and had no side effects - aside from basic arm soreness). What I like about this vaccination site is they give you an Apple Wallet version of your COVID-19 Vaccination Card. So not only do you have the hard copy card but you can also have this electronic version with you at all times. Huge shout out to the pharmacists and nurses working tirelessly to vaccinate the community. Both nurses who vaccinated me were super friendly and my experience was pretty smooth-sailing!

The counselors greeted them by name and escorted them out of the car. Not only is there a fun theme daily but there is also instructional and recreational swimming every day! It is equipped with a track, football/soccer turf field, 4 mini baseball/softball fields, 4 tennis courts, a playground for kids, a concession stand (only open during events), female and male bathrooms, and plenty of parking. More importantly, it is my playground for my outdoor summer workouts. I can accomplish many of my exercise routines on this track & field. Anything I imagine I can do it here, and I can get very creative with working out. From suicides on the field, sprinting up and down the bleachers, running laps (forward & backwards; must try), sit-ups, pushups, etc etc. After all that, I can kick the soccer ball around for extra cardio. Burning calories is easily done here, and getting burnt from the sun is just as easy here, too.

We like the morning teachers better than the afternoon ones. Daily reports are nice but could be better and more extensive. They tell you how much the child ate, how long they napped and diapers. This is all important but a snap shot of how your child's day was would be nice. The place is pricy and we expected more for how much it costs. We will give it a few more months and decide whether to stay or go.
