The assortment of vegetables and sandwich wrap toppings were fresh, very cleanly arranged and set up. The juicy glistening chicken had me right away and I made a beeline to the counter to order. Hubby and I ordered 2 chicken shawarma plates. This came with the options of: Rice with lentils - wow this was so amazing - I make this at home myself, so I was super impressed! Salad options including tabbouleh and building your own with options including: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions Fresh warm laffa bread - I could have eaten 2-3 of these myself (order a sandwich with this bread - you will not be disappointed!) Hummus Garlic sauce Tahini Coleslaw Onions with sumac Some of their options for sandwiches and plates include: Chicken Shish Kebab (dark or white meat) Beef Shish Kebab Lamb Shish Kebab Kefta Lamb Shish Kebab We stuck with salad and tabbouleh, hummus on the side, rice with lentils and garlic & tahini sauce. Each platter came with 1 laffa bread - we loved it so much they gave us 2 extra at no charge. The chicken was so fresh and full of flavour, dark meat that was juicy and not dry at all, the seasoning was perfection. Truthfully, this meal was so fresh and so good, that it tasted homemade. I took away 1 star for the hummus, tahini & garlic sauce. Hummus needed more garlic and lemon, garlic sauce the garlic was really suttle and a bit on the runny side and same with the tahini. Vaughan def has a lot of great shawarma options, that I am really looking forward to trying. The shawarma itself was quite tasty however, there was quite a bit of lettuce, with not as much chicken as I would have liked. It was filling as well, keeping me full for hours afterwards. The price was also reasonable, given the amount that I had received. Overall, this restaurant did provide a tasty meal however, it wasn't as tasty as I would have hoped. There were definitely many items on the menu, making it hard to narrow it down to one. However, if I'm in the area again, I would definitely give this place another try, as the authenticity of the food seems to be quite high.

Once I was settled at home, I had dinner. My shawarma wrap was still warm. I found it to be filling and the best blueberry flame chicken shawarma wrap that I have ever had anywhere. It's probably because this place was generous with the blueberry sauce. As a fruit enthusiast, it made my day. It had the perfect balance of sweetness with a bit of a spice kick from the habanero. I unwrapped the box and ended up with 10% off my next order. Sweet! My baklava came in six different pieces. My guess is that the heat from my shawarma transferred over to the baklava. Most of the pieces ended up being more soggy than flaky. Note to self: If I have hot food with my baklava, separate the baklava so it doesn't act as a sponge, absorbing moisture from the hot food.
