I wish I took a photo of the lent menu. Two of the fish options were listed at $16. Icelandic Cod with in a bun or a dish with slaw and another side of your choice. Yet on the menu there is a fish sandwich for $3 less and one side choice. That's what I wanted. I didn't want the roll or the double sides. I was told I couldn't have that because it's a different fish. Yet all named the same. Then I was told it was different seasoning. They added in that the sizes were different. All the fish comes in frozen and ready for the fryer. And they did not order that particular sandwich size. But would they have that size on Saturday? Since the lent menu would be done? I call bull on all of that and should have been able to get what I wanted on the menu. I opted for the cowboy burger that was okay. The bun was a bit air stale. No flavor to the burger at all. Bagged chips. Would have hoped for homemade since they had 3 different fries to choose from. The other party with me had the boneless wings. They were good! Will I go back? Yes. Not getting the fish. Too much of a hassle.

We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks as appetizers with a runny dip and $12 for 6 mozz sticks that were straight from freezer to fryer. They indicate that the marinara is homemade, but these clearly were not. I ordered garlic parmesan wings with ranch, and noticeably their was no garlic or parmesan as far as I could tell. It was just butter. The wings were cooked fine, but I can't believe they would serve a product like this. And I've said it before, but I'll say it again - their homemade ranch is horrible. It's supposed to be "garlic" ranch, but they might as well call it sugar ranch. I can't think of any other scenario where I wouldn't eat ranch, so this is an incredible bar to suppass. The best item I tried was my son's pizza from the kid's menu, which is saying something.

It looks like there may be a banquet or event space attached. Walking inside, the place has a great rustic vibe with a mix of wood and metal finishes. Definitely a well done atmosphere and a comfortable place to sit down for a meal. I originally ordered wings and specifically asked for them extra crispy since I am not a fan of soft wings. Unfortunately, they came out the opposite, so I sent them back and decided to switch things up. Instead, I went with a cup of roasted corn chowder. It came out hot, but overall it was just average. Nothing bad, just nothing that stood out. At that point, after the wings miss and an average soup, I will be honest, my expectations for the main course were starting to dip a bit. But the entrée completely turned things around. I went with the bruschetta chicken with wild rice and grilled vegetables, and it really delivered. Presentation was excellent with two nicely plated chicken breasts over wild rice with zucchini, squash, and onions. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and everything had great flavor. This dish definitely made up for the earlier hiccups. Service wise, Elizabeth was attentive, friendly, and very apologetic about the wing issue, which I appreciated. Overall, I would land at a solid 4 stars. I would come back again, but I will not be ordering the wings. When someone orders crispy, they mean crispy.
