Had a great group dinner here and would definitely return.
Set reservations for our group after contacting the restaurant and the host sent me a photo of the table where he would seat us. He explained that for the size of the group, 13 people, I would need to choose a preset menu in advance which was not an issue.
Our menu consisted of a simple tomato and cheese salad, red tuna with pineapple carpaccio, and an apple cake with vanilla cream. It was originally apple pie with vanilla ice cream, but the chef changed this without notifying us. However, no one complained and I didn't see anyone leave one piece behind on their plate. We had one vegetarian with us who had a pasta, and she told me it was great. The red tuna was sliced thin, was fresh and tasted great with the pineapple. Crusts of bread were served with the salad, and I don't like crusty bread, but theirs was really good. The balsamic used was high quality.
Our group seating area included a couple loveseats in a lounge area as well. The table was nicely set up with candles and a menu at each place setting.
They don't have much of a selection in the non-alcoholic beverage selection and only Coke for soda. If you don't drink and aren't in the mood for lemonade or Coke, you're stuck with water. If you love wine, they have a large selection.
Our host was fantastic and checked in with me often to make sure everything was up to standard. He had excellent manners.
A few tips: AMEX is not accepted here. This is a small restaurant with a few tables so reservations are highly recommended. read more
