Thats goes to show how impressed i was to keep going back. Previously i had always preferred to bring my car for hand car washes as i've had some bad experiences before going through auto washes before at other businesses. But after i noticed that they barely vaccum properly inside .. and didn't even wash my matt's properly even though i paid extra .. i was like mehhh i need to find a different place. Which led me to Shine Auto Wash, closer to home and prices online seemed budget friendly for the various options. But shockingly the spontaneous wash i made out to shine auto wash gilley location back in May it was pretty impressive. They do have other locations listed online if Burnaby isn't exactly close to you. There was 6 splotches of bird poop in diff areas and the wash really moved it all. I chose the platinum wash .. which after taxes was about $31.50. I love how the place is 24 hours and there's always a guy working to give you a reminder of the instructions of how to prepare for your turn to go through the wash once you choose your self serve option when you first drive in! Though i have to admit i noticed on my front window there's a few scratches but it's light!!! which happened during my most recent visit on friday aug 9th ... hmmm hopefully it disappears! bc

We stopped by after a road trip to Squamish that had the car covered in fine white dust from the road and this car wash did the trick--while a few spots were missed toward the bottom of the car, for the most part it looked as good as new! Each wash takes about 5-10 minutes and sometimes there is a little bit of a line to contend with. Prices seem reasonable. Bonus tip- the car wash is 50% off on Mondays. Give this place a try!

As I've never bring my car to an automatic car wash before, I'm quite clueless on how it works. The staff was very kind and explained the process very well. I also found out I could redeem my PC optimum points for a free car wash (any type for 10k points). I'm not sure if you can do the redemption at the pump or if it's only inside the store. You get a $2 off any car wash when you get gas. And you can add the car wash option at the pump. Without the discount the basic car wash starts at $13.99 or $15.99. I remembered it being quite steep. The price chart is available at the cashier and I forgot to take a picture of that. The wash is pretty good and I can see the dust and grime being washed away by the high pressured water. I think the front of my car is cleaner than the rest. I've gotten gas here before and it's quite the usual process. If you're collecting pc points, I find it's better to get your card scanned at the store. Somehow my points tend not to show up when I do it at the pump. Maybe it's just my card. Location is quite convenient too. Near the willingdon and kingsway junction.

The front staff was accommodating and helped put together a cleaning package price for me and set a date. When I arrived for my appointment he took the keys and answered all of my questions and then sent me off with an expectation that it would take about 3 hours to complete. The nice part about their location is Tim Hortons being right nearby. I did utilize that in between, of course! I received a text message from them around the 3 hour mark and went to pickup my truck. They gave me a complimentary air freshener when I paid and then took me to inspect their service. I wasn't disappointed. It smelt SO fresh inside, the carpets were incredibly clean, all of the surfaces were clean and you could tell they'd spent time getting into the cracks of things. I will say however, that my steering wheel has never been the same- but that doesn't bother me. Whatever cleaning product they used stripped off the parts of the wheel that had been peeling- about one third of the steering wheel is slightly rough now. But again, doesn't bother me. However, if you have a nice-r vehicle or you're worried about things breaking or being peeled/chipped/etc, I think you should go to a more luxury auto detailer.
