It truly is a paradox. It's really a mixed experience so far. My teen is a patient of Paradox. The therapy is helpful, but the written report is low quality and doesn't provide much insight as to how to support outside of therapy. It wasn't very thorough and some parts were so far removed in facts from the information provided that it seems my child was conflated with another. There was very little collateral contact with important other providers, so I don't have the sense that the therapist has a full picture of what is going on. And probably the worst part is that we have been plagued by billing problems; despite several conversations, I don't have the sense that I'm being heard or that I have the opportunity to review and authorize payment for services, and, worse, we have a constant looming threat that if we don't pay without questioning the bill, then services will be cancelled. That's not a supportive practice for kids, and it also leaves me feeling uneasy about the billing practices. read more
