She also informed me of the specials and they sounded more amazing than anything on the menu. I ordered the minestrone soup. It came with a basket of small round freshly baked bread. It had lots of fresh veggies and the broth was simple in flavor. For the main course I has the Tonnarelli Scarface. It is black pasta with mussels. I had wanted to try black pasta for a while (it's made with octopus ink! So interesting). It was heavenly. I sat at the bar and waited for about 8 minutes. The bar tenders seemed confused. It was weird. They will get one more chance then I'll pick somewhere new.
