Commenting solely on "Drive the Glen"…read more Great deal and lots of fun. $30 per car gets you three laps around the track, though top speed is limited to 55 mph. That being said, if you're someone with a nice car who isn't afraid of it, show up early. Website says 45 minutes early, but you might want to be earlier. These are completely street legal cars (ex: a minivan with a clamshell on top) with regular people driving them, and the possibility of being stuck behind someone who is afraid of their own car is decent. On my run, we were stuck behind someone in a Nissan sentra doing 25-30 mph *on the straights* which was completely ridiculous. We lost sight of the pace car after one lap. You're *supposed* to keep within two car lengths, but clearly no one was policing that given the sentra, so I would do my best to drop back so I could take the exciting parts at the speed limit of 55 (e.g. the cichane, esses, etc.). It was difficult tho... 35 mph on a raceway straight is just soooo slow. So keep that in mind if you decide to go. Don't bother with tix and waiver online, they prefer if you do it all at the track, just bring a credit card. Slow drivers who have no business being anywhere near a racetrack aside, a great value and lots of fun!

Great track. Love watching IMSA here. The facility conditions are lacking. The food is pretty bad,…read morethey make the minimum effort on the food. Place is a little run down but if you're here for the racing it doesn't matter. Best advice. Ring your our food and drinks.

TRACK TIME WITH ROSS BENTLEY! 5.0…read more Long story short, this track is amazingly FUN! Reading track maps don't always translate elevation properly. Coming from Calinfornia, I was thinking that Pineview Run would be more similar to other 2-mile tracks like Buttonwillow in Southern California or Thunderhill West in Northern California. I was wrong. The long story... When we heard that the very popular and highly respected Ross Bentley, former racer, coach, PodCaster and author was hosting a driving event, "Speed Secrets Academy" for advanced track drivers, my husband and I signed up without hesitation. If you can imagine a classroom filled with racing, track, data analysis, SIM, PodCast and book writing talent, this was that classroom thanks to @rossbentley @gofasternow (Peter Krause), @thatsamsmith Mario, Ian and Josh. Rental cars were available for this event, but we wanted to track our Porsche GT4 RS. We had her transported cross country from California to New York. This is how excited we were to learn from Ross and experience Pineview Run, in pure petrol fashion. My husband and I shared our car, with he in the 3-day class (data included) and me in the 2-day class. The track: Pineview Run is privately owned and is one of the most fun tracks on which I've driven. In the short 2 miles, it had plenty of elevation (which I absolutely loved), hair pin turns, sweepers and two straightaways, one ending in a steep blind hill! The luscious greenery added to the beauty of this track and allowed for so many visual references. Just don't stare at the blue barn or horses or else you'll drive straight off track. The facilities are well kept and have a lot of natural exposed wood. We rented a garage which looked more like a beautiful horse stable! There are so many great takeaway memories from our time in Syracuse. A few highlights of the Academy was being given a big thumbs up from Peter Krause, meeting our racing idol Ross Bentley and two other amazing lady drivers @vickiwilsonfischer, hanging out with Ian (while getting some SIM time in) and earning the "Be Careful What You Ask For" award. They asked for +3%... I gave them +10% more throttle! So much fun and learning all wrapped up into an experience of a lifetime. See full story on IG: Lady992driver

I see three negative posts here from one person who obviously has an axe to grind. I know there was…read morea lot of local opposition to PineView initially, thinking it was going to be some loud local racing joint. In the last two months that I've regularly driven the track I've yet to hear a loud exhaust, or see any wreckless driving. Todd and crew maintain high standards and are a class act. My personal experience has been the polar opposite of Natalie K's claims. I joined Pineview last fall and have been so impressed with the quality of the track as well as the very personalized and accommodating service. I seriously can't say enough about how consistently flexible and accommodating Todd and the staff are. As part of the track facility, the quality of the HPDE driving instructors is excellent and the provision for free instruction in the membership is very helpful. The track is highly technical and challenging and Todd and his staff work hard to maintain a very safe and respectful environment. I love the app that allows me to book my track-time slots online and well in advance, or at the last minute when the weather forecast lloks too good to not be at the track. The troll who wrote that Pineview is "poorly run" obviously has no experience with the organization and hasn't bothered to find out how things actually work. If you do the simple math of how much it costs to do a track day you'll see how much value-for-cost you get at Pineview. Despite the usual NYS barriers to doing business, Todd Milton is persisting and winning and has a vision and plan for a great facility. It's still a new facility but literally every week I see significant new improvements. I'm a born skeptic and am personally very financially conservative and risk-averse, but I see Pineview as something I can comfortably support. BTW, I have no connection to Pineview or Mr. Milton other than my membership which I'm very pleased with. Ignore the naysayers, this is a great place.
