I went in yesterday to get a full set and pedicure. My pedicure was amazing! However, I was extremely disappointed with how my nails came out. I returned within an hour of leaving to have them fixed, and was informed by the owner that it would be an extra fee to fix them. To make matters worse, the owner was extremely rude and spoke over me when I tried to explain how I wanted them shaped. So, I left the salon a SECOND time still upset with my nails! The end result was so awful that I had to shape/file them myself. The first two photos are the salons doing, and the last one is what they looked like after I fixed them. I just moved here from California, after a not so great experience at a nail salon near Politics I decided to give this place a try. The decor is really pretty and I was greeted with a smile by Tina. She's really friendly and funny. She offered me a water, wine or margarita from their new margarita machine. I decided to give one a try. The margaritas are pretty good. My pedicure was nice and long, you pick a scent for your tub which is fun. The pedi tubs have a fresh new liner for each new client and the tools are sanitized and come from a sealed package. New owners and great improvements! I came in with a picture of what I wanted for my cruise. Mario not only did what I wanted but they look even better than the example. Pedicure with a glass of wine was relaxing and perfect for a Sunday afternoon. No chemical smell, lots of options including SNS. Will be back!!! read more

I've gone back a couple more times and the attention to detail has gone downhill. I hadn't been back in almost a year and tried again the other day b/c the ambience is still great for a girls day. But I regret it. My cuticles were so poorly groomed that the manager noticed while I was paying and began to trim them again herself. My nails still had that piece of nail stuck to them that you have when you don't file well/completely. At that point I just wanted to get out of there. Won't be going back. read more

This is the only I'll come for my nail needs. If I can't make it I'll wait. The inside decor is nice and they do have complimentary margaritas, wine and water on hand. They have tons of scented oils that they use for your pedicure should you choose to get one. They take their time and actually massage your feet and legs thoroughly. One thing I love about this place is their polish selection. Endless color possibilities with both regular and shellac polishes. Karen is an eyebrow goddess. I recommend trying this place if you're wanting to relax & feel pampered. Paradise nail and spa definitely gives you that spa feel. read more

Came here so my sister in laws could experience mani/pedis for the first time. We had a blast! They have tons of scents to pick from for the water for your pedicure and have big comfy pedicure chairs. My feet are in rough shape after 12 hour hospital shifts and they fixed me right up. My sister in laws are primarily Spanish speakers and the staff made extra effort to communicate with them and make their time here special. I absolutely adored that. I was in town visiting and needed a relaxing spa day I was very anxious and stressed since I go to the same salon in my home town and don't tend to use anyone else! I choose this salon because they had good ratings looked clean from the pictures and it was a block down from where I was staying. First time me and the wife visiting this place. Nice setup, clean, four choices of pedicures, complimentary margaritas (mango & strawberry). I was manicured and pedicured in about an hour, but my wife on the other hand her service was a little slow - it took about three hours. Prices seemed to be reasonable in comparison to other salons of equal. I gave this spot three stars because of how long it took them to take care of the wife. We might try this salon again only if we have the time. Update - Subsequent visit, like always we made an appointment- 2 hours later and 5 people that came in after us. Even if you have the time being looked over and not tended to is no excuse for that type of customer service! I do not recommend this place any longer. read more

Beware! I wish I could give this place worse than a single star. They used a metal cheese grater during the pedicure and cut my skin. I had to get a tetanus shot and later developed swollen lymph glands because of them! They shouldn't be in business. read more

Pedicure was fine, but SMS manicure was horrible. They did not have the matching powder for my pedicure color even though I asked before the pedicure to make sure and they assured me they did. It took almost a full hour for just the mani although he only did a couple layers of powder, I'm assuming because he could tell the true color of the SMS powder was not going to match my pedi color if he did anymore layers. Within 4 days my nails had begun to crack and within a week pieces were breaking off. SMS should last minimum 3 weeks and then some. Two stars because they were very friendly. read more

I went to get shellac done before my 10 day vacation to Chicago. I thought it would be perfect to not worry about my nails. I was right when they were done they were lovely. And the employees were sweet. But four days into my vacation the color started to change. When I came home I went straight to the salon to ask why and get them removed. Since it was the salons failure to tell me the colors could change I told them I wanted them to pay for the removal. Then the manager started talking to me like a little girl saying next time I needed to come in straight away. O sorry I was in Chicago. They said they wouldn't help me and I told them to go f them selfie and thanks for the sh*t manicure. read more

So here we go. As a frequent person of nail salons I want everyone to know why I am a reviewer of this place. Incredible service, but unfortunately last time I was there with my girlfriend and my mother was next door getting her done. Well she shows up and we aren't quite done so she decides to get hers done as well. Well next thing I know (we are at La Play next door getting an appetizer) and mom comes in to meet us and her attendant mentions that her son didn't tip well(he suspected the manager or possible owner might be stealing the employees tips). To say I wan incensed is an understatement. I have been a bartender for over 20 years and have lived on tips. The tab was 96 and I tipped 30 on it. The lady was incredulous and even followed into the restaurant after I berated her in front of everyone. This lady has literally been stealing half of all those people's tips. Just please be aware of your CC receipts and make sure that this doesn't happen to you. And as a post script I apologize for the profanity I used in the salon. read more

The manager steal from her workers and doesn't let them keep their tips. She is frequently changing her workers because they realize what she is doing. I have a friend who secretly translates what they say and the manager tells all her workers "the customers are stupid they don't know what they want" and she makes sure all the acrylic nails are very thick for some reason! If it was possible to give this place no stars I would! I've never been to a more unprofessional establishment. My experience began with the manager following me out to my car when I decided I didn't want to wait for an extended amount of time, which is unusual for during the middle of the day when there weren't many people there, while she sat there texting on her phone right at the entrance not doing anything; I mean if you want to do that at least take it to the back. After leaving she followed me to my car, knocked on my window of my car and offered me a discount in order to me to give it another try. Might as well right? Who can turn down a discount.? The pedicure was mediocre and over priced and the large selection of polish is a joke when they are all dried up. I also got a full artificial set by another employee and while he was putting them on he was trash talking the manager who was 10 feet behind us. Thus making me and the woman sitting next to me a extremely uncomfortable. After glueing 4 of my fingers together and having to rip of a nail because it was placed incorrectly he was finally done. While waiting for my nail polish to dry I examined my toes to ensure it was done to a minimal standard for the almost $50 I paid for it. I was completely disappointed. I noticed many of my toes weren't even completely painted and two had already chipped due to the nail polish being so dried out. When I told the manager she blamed me and then had the employee watch as she fixed my toes. After he left she proceeded to blame me for the chipped polish and then had the nerve to say I was taking advantage of her. I mean if they were done correctly the first time I wouldn't have had to have her spend 15 minutes cleaning them up. I hope no one else receives this kind of service ever again.
