I tried this disc golf course while visiting the area and loved it! It is a 9-hole course with only…read moreone level of play, which is IMO beginner/intermediate. My son and I are beginners and both enjoyed it very much and thought it was good for beginners. There is a map of the course at the start; I took a photo with my phone and referred to it a couple times during play to find the next tee, as it is not always obvious. Some of the tees have a straight shot and view to the wire basket, but others are more challenging. In particular, there was an area with a little bridge and plenty of trees and brush on a little hill that you have to cross twice during the course, and it can be hard to find your disc if it lands there. Use a neon disc! Our drivers were unfortunately black, and I had some trouble because I couldn't see through to where my disc went down to track it. My son found it for me just fine though. The park is well maintained, the tees were free of any brush or debris, the grassy parts were mown. You might like to wear sunscreen and bug repellant in the summer. If you have young kids but still want to play disc golf, this location is good, because there are two playgrounds adjacent to parts of the course, one tiny one near holes 4-7, and the larger one near holes 8 and 9. So if they are old enough to not need close/constant supervision, you could have them walk with you through holes 1-3, and then play 4-7 while they are at the little one, then bring them to hole 8 and they can run up to the bigger one until you finish. And at the larger one, there is an adjacent covered picnic area and water fountain for snack time, and a bathroom up the rise at the parking area. It's also a good course if your kid(s) want to try playing disc golf. If it doesn't work out, you can always do just a few holes and then play at the playground. The park also has many other amenities, such as a skate park and baseball field.

The guys asked if I brought a zip/jump drive, (very important if you do not plan on signing up for lessons) I stated no because I was not instructed to do so ( I made a list as he spoke) the guys said its OK you can get it when you come back. That was strike one in my book since it was a 45 min drive from my house. We talked about my swing for a little bit and then the tides changed to a high pressure sale tactic. Buy a 16 week lesson right now, pay in full today for a small discount! I resisted the pitch as much as could w/o rudeness or anger. Even with all the pushyness i asked how much another hour analysis would be w/o a Groupon and I was told it was 50$ I sated I at least I wanted another hour to get my video and continue working on the loads of info. The formally cool guys said he wouldn't do another hour with me because he wouldn't make any money like that, so it was lessons (300$ minimum) or nothing. I am not a business wiz but this doesn't make since to me. I was moderately on the fence about the lessons and because they wouldn't let me come back for just another hour my mind was made up for me. They just gave up on at least another $50 and quite possibly a full lesson. I am sorry to rant on here and post a huge review but the whole process left a sour taste in my mouth and it wasn't smart on their end.

What I really appreciated about Ryan is he first give you some basic swing instructions to let you work on and then once you have got those dialed in, he will help you fine tune other things to keep lowering your scores. Having the combo of multiple angles of video analysis and really great focused instruction has really improved my golf game. Admission was a little pricey but it felt worth it with everything they had. We went on a Saturday morning and it was packed. Our friends had to wait at least 1 hour for their food. They had plenty of photo ops which I took apart of. I will say, it was a group of 21+ so we were veryyyyy underwhelmed with the activities since most of them were kid focused. I did take advantage of the carousel and unashamedly got on there! It was a good time :) The farm was huge and I wished we had some kind of map that was either digital or on hand because a few time we could not find anything and I was SEARCHINGGGGGG for a couple things. Make sure to bring your own snacks, get there early and go before the pumpkins go bad.

It is a great place to airsoft. The guys who run it are very cool and the players are all friendly and play fair. No little kids running around spraying everyone with their $29 WalMart guns. Bottom line: The MACC is s fun, safe and well run airsoft facility that is perfect for getting your combat on.
