Horrible pace of play. Carts give a warning on being behind pace and state you will be asked to skip a hole if too slow. Been stuck behind people too many times here and it turns a 4 hour round into 5 or more. Marshall doesn't care. We flagged him down multiple times. He said there was nothing he could do about it. When you call the pro shop they don't care either. Not sure what the deal is with that. Course has a lot of rough patches in the fairway. For all the money they make from the Office you'd think it be in better shape. & don't even want to get started on the POS carts they have. They will start beeping and lock up on the first cut, not even the rough. Constantly locking up in the cart path. I know no one there could give a shit less but I won't be playing here again. read more

Wanted to get a golf lesson, was given 2 business cards. I'm standing at the front desk and hear one of the golf "pros" talking just behind a wall and I asked if he could pop out for a minute. Was told no, just text him! Gave that guys card back to the guy at the desk and said, "I won't be needing his card." On Monday I sent a text to the other "pro" saying I would like to take a lesson. It's Sunday...... have not heard back from him. Two suggestions for the two instructors...... gotta pick one: 1. Act like you give a sh** about potential customers -or- 2. Don't offer lessons A shame, very nice course. Front desk and restaurant staff are pleasant, courteous, and professional. Played the course today, it was well laid out and kept up quite nicely. The tee boxes are horrible!!! Not one but all of them... 50% of the greens have 20% or more dead spots that are not from winter kill. I've seen the same ones for years. Dead trees everywhere!! I bet they could cut down 50 just to start. Obviously the owners are not paying attention and the management team has their head and thoughts somewhere else. The food is ok and we might as well mention that the girls are cute and 80% of the men come for the office. Everything could improve!! read more

The people that bought this place years back have done nothing short of an amazing job revamping this place. The course itself is mediocre. Has some fun holes, but is nothing special. Would like to see water in the empty holes out there, and that'd make it a lot more fun. The one cart girl I've seen recently sucks. She barely comes around and when she does show up, she has nothing in her cart. when you ask her to come back quick because she didn't have anything for us in the first place she just says no. She has as much personality as a piece of bread. Very frustrating to want to pay double for a beer and still not be able to get one! You can't bring your own, and you can't get one from them...... She didn't even have water! Why not go restock and then hit the golfers that you had nothing for, rather than re starting the route all over. Assuming it's not her choice, but cmon paradise. You have 37 waitresses working in the restaurant, and one cart girl for 18 holes! The restaurant/bar is a lot of fun, and they have done a wonderful job with the vibes and atmosphere it provides. read more

Over the last several years the owner of PHGC has put a ton of $ and effort into upgrading everything. The course has been refined by xeriscaping those places that really don't need grass, seeding and watering places that did need it, moving some tee boxes, trimming and removing some trees and overall attention to details around the greens. What once was considered poorly by many is now a great addition to golf choices in the metro area. But the owner didn't stop there. The clubhouse and bar was completely updated. The Office Lounge has become a go to place for locals who don't golf. The many flat screens provide a sports bar feel, the numerous drafts offered keeps beer lovers happy. The food is consistently well prepared, fresh and priced right. My wife had the green chile breakfast burrito and I the wings. I really like this place, the course is really fun to play and not super hard. The driving range faces east so the sun isn't in your eyes in the late afternoon. The Office, which is the newly renovated restaurant/ bar is really nice as well. It has a nice brewery feel, the food is pretty good and there's a good beer selection. There are two glass garage doors that open up to the patio. They also have live bands in the evenings on the weekends. This is a great place to hang out even if you don't golf. read more

This review is for The Office only. This is where the half star would be optimal because it is closer to 3.5 than 4. The food was good. Had the turkey sandwich and Par 3 for the appetizer. The cheese for the Par 3 was "canny" in texture - picture 80's bowling alley nacho cheese out of a can. The green chile and sandwich was delicious, as were the onion rings. Our service experience was...interesting. After we finished our sandwich the server asked if we were ready to cash out. Ummmm, I mean we could be ready but we had just ordered our beer and they were just brought out so we needed at least enough time to enjoy them. Just really weird. We'll be back here to golf and eat again so nothing happened that would deter us from that. read more

my group of 4 was the first tee time on a weekend. 5 minutes till tee off, no pro shop staff to be seen. cart boys and starters are stressed that there are no staff members with keys around. I overhear them saying that this happens often and they never get paid even though they are at work on time. a maintenance staff member finds the employees and they rush to get us a cart to start our round. they tell us not to worry about payment because we had to tee off 10 minutes late. as we are about to make the turn, pro shop staff comes out to the 9th green telling us we didn't pay. I responded by telling them we were here on time ready to pay but they were not. he continued to tell us we had to come to the pro shop right now if we wanted to finish our round. No apology or concession was offered and the attitude of the pro shop staff was very poor. read more

We were invited to the soft opening of the new restaurant and let me tell you....HOLY COW!!!! Wait staff is superb, food is extraordinary, drinks are on point and the atmosphere is impeccable! We tried numerous appetizers and then the entrees. Everything was spot on!! This is a must stop if you're on this side of the river! I can't say enough about how well the remodel improved the place! Everything is a huge improvement and it was just a great experience! If you want to get out for happy hour or play some golf and then get a great meal, this is THE STOP!!!! We headed out on July 10. We arrived and the Blu Soul Band was just beginning to play outside under the pavilion. There was a nice cool breeze blowing, with the golf course was surrounding it. The music was great, will definitely go hear them play again. The band stand and dance floor are a lot to be desired. As they are bare ground and patches of dry grass, it is sloping down which makes for dangerous dancing. I did appreciate the tables set up and the waitresses were on the move. It was a fun time. Note to the owners; consider adding a safe dance floor and band stand. Maybe then more people will dance. read more

Unique course with tough greens. Beautiful mountains lend to the name. Green fees were fair. The "Office" (restaurant) was great.

Wow this used to be one of our regular spots but we had not been in a while. It was a surprise when we walked in to a completely new place - a really wonderful surprise!! They underwent a complete remodel and revamped the menu. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Our server was also so friendly and brought out everything exactly as ordered. Several TV's were added and playing various sports games and of course golf, so there is not a bad seat in the place. A really nice sports bar with a local feel so close to home, perfect!! read more

Green fees are way to expensive for this course. Seniors pay $31 for 9 holes is ridiculous. Plus the carts are programmed to stop running if you're an inch in the rough. For $31 the course should be immaculate which it is not! read more

What happens when strip club closes during covid? They come to work at this golf course. They don't look as good with the lights on. Do not play on the weekend. Guaranteed 6 and a half hour round surrounded by golfers that couldn't break 120 ever. Cart girl is a hail damaged washed up stripper that has not idea what golf etiquette is and will beg for tips and throw a temper tantrum. This is a very low class environment. Only positive is that they do a great job taking care of the golf course. Great greens. Will not go back to this shi hole. read more

My son and now daughter-in-law had their wedding here. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. Allah the wedding coordinator is AMAZING!! I highly recommend her. She is so patient and answers all of your questions, no matter how many times you ask the same one repeatedly. The day of the wedding, Allah appears to be in multiple places at once. Ensuring that all is being done and even the smallest detail has been completed. The food was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and are a perfect setting for wedding photos. Allah's knowledge once again is apparent at this time. She puts you and your photographer in a golf cart and takes you all over the course to the most beautiful settings for the most perfect pictures. All in all, it was a wonderful wedding. I highly recommend seeking Allah's services and utilizing Paradise Hills Golf Course for your wedding needs. By the way, if by some chance Allah's supervisor reads this, that girl needs a raise! Played the course a couple of weeks ago. First, the pro shop staff was great. Found out they had a senior rate on the weekend for $29 so that was a welcome surprise. For the most part, the fairways and greens were in good shape. The greens were punched about a month ago so they were still very slow. It looks as though they were letting them grow out a little before grooming them. One issue I had was the rough, if you can call it that. Nothing but crabgrass and weeds. Very hard to hit in if your ball's there. They need to clear the weeds out and put down sod or seed. Would have been a better experience if this was better. Another was the pace of play. A little slow. Last was the cart ladies. A couple of times they drove through the fairways as we were about to hit. Overall, the experience was good but not 4/5 star good. read more
