In July '23 I told Aspinall's that I would like some changes to a design proposal they had made for us. The project included a patio and some gardens and was in the $35K price range. Yes, $35,000. I realized we weren't going to get it done in '23. I called about a week later and continued to call but no one ever called me back although they assured me someone would. I knew we weren't in the queue until we had the final cost estimate and design which is why I was calling. On President's Day 2024 I had the day off from work so I went by. I called ahead and said I was hoping to finalize the design, place a deposit and get on the 2024 schedule. The designer said I called him back very quickly after I requested the changes. I wanted to focus on the future so I said: Do you want this project? (Because I was feeling they didn't want the work.) He responded they couldn't get to it until MAYBE October. I said yes to a project in July 23 and can't get it started for sure in 2024. What is worse is that they won't pick up a phone in 7 months to tell me. I am under the assumption we are moving forward and they don't want to do the job but won't tell me so I can make other plans. We did have a tree planted by them last spring and they were able to do it. But forget a landscaping project. They are over-booked and not business-like enough to say so.
