All my workers were non- English speakers. They moved my furniture to one side of the room and started laying 'wood' flooring about 6 panels from the inside wall inside my living room. As time went on they became aware that my floors were not level. They then began mixing something white with water and would pour it into the unleveled part. A little later they would lay the flooring. It took a year or so before it started coming up! I now have several areas that have risen up to the point if I need to move furniture, the legs get caught on the unleveled floor. A few places have begun chipping away at the corners, or actually chipping off the planks. I've noticed this in other rooms. I had them do my floor before when they were up on US19N. They did a much better job then; so when I had a leak under my kitchen sink on New Years Night 2022; when I was gone for perhaps 2 hours; I immediately thought of them for an estimate. Although my paperwork included new primed white quarter round; when the men left after several days that week, I noticed they they had not put down my baseboards so when I mentioned it; they hurriedly nailed it. I am not able to repaint it is I have turned almost 73 and could not stay on my knees long enough to paint it. To be honest I'm pretty disappointed in how it looked when they left. At this point I can't afford to have it redone as I have very little to live on. My total price was $7,751.00. I have no one to help me anymore. They did not leave any spare flooring. I told the manager over my job that it was a horrible experience for me, but he just replied something to the effect of "well I'm sure you will give us a good evaluation." At this point I'm very disappointed with the turnout; however I guess I just have to live with it. With my experiences I cannot give this place a good evaluation nor tell others to check them out. I thought I would get over my disappointment, but I guess I won't. I truly hope others have found their jobs to turn out better than mine. I live in Clearwater. If the estimate is still on file - the number was 23472. Hopefully others have had honestly good luck with them.

4 stars??? I have never made a purchase like this before…read more I visited The Carpet Store because I was buying carpet for a Townhouse I had under contract. I wanted the carpet installed immediately after I closed . I went to The Carpet Store to pick out and purchase carpet. I went early on a Saturday morning. This place is a warehouse not really a "store". Several people were available to help fairly quickly. One to take the plans I brought in and attempt to measure, the other to help us select carpet. I did not know what I was getting myself into because I had no idea there were so many options and the entire process was confusing. From which brand, which material, which padding and the most difficult decision, which color... I was not prepared but I knew I was making a decision that day. Two hours later, I knew a bit more about carpet and padding and stain resistance, etc. We put down a $1000 deposit so they would make an appointment to measure which was scheduled the next week, once they measured, the carpet was ordered and took about a week and half to come in. Long story short, we did not close on the Townhouse and were refunded $750 of the $1000 deposit that was for approximately $3000 worth of carpet. We have about 6 months to use the $250 credit. I am giving 4 stars because this was a difficult process and I have nothing to compare to. The Carpet Store did a pretty good job helping us through it he process. I think!

My tile was to be installed in less than a week, all the while I'm made to assume that my tile is waiting to be picked up. I get a call from the carpet store telling me later that my tile is not available. This is the last thing you want to hear when time is of the essence. Perhaps it was due to the crisis that the tile didn't make it in time. Who knows! I was told I'd hear back with an alternative that closely resembled the original, never heard back. I'll give them a 3 star rating for the initial service I got from them, but this was a big time waster for me.

After visiting several local stores, we stopped in Bob's (just before we were due to fly out of town) and they had an awesome selection of vinyl plank flooring and carpet in stock so we were able to make a great decision on our product of choice and even more importantly, they were able to complete the installation in the time frame we needed (very quick turn around). Unfortunately, we were not able to stay in town for the installation so we kept the realtor box on the door to allow them entry to complete the job while we were out of town. They installed the VPF and new carpet throughout the entire house and did a beautiful job and we were so happy. (Scared to death because paying someone to do a job and knowing that we aren't there to inspect the final job before issuing payment is never a smart move but it was the only option we had available to us.) We are so thankful that everything went smoothly, the installation was great and two years later we still love our floors. We would definitely use them again and have referred several of our neighbors to them over the past two years. Bob's Carpet and Flooring is now our "go to" for our flooring needs and we highly recommend them because their products, installation and customer service are all go above and beyond expectations. Thank you to Bob's for an excellent job well done.

Six months ago my "luxury" vinyl floor began shrinking, buckling and coming up causing huge gaps…read more (See photos) Manager Brent came out, took moisture readings, photos and measurements and determined I did nothing wrong and enthusiastically reassured me that this would be resolved and shouldn't concern myself, Bob's would make things right. For the last 6 months 99% of our communication was initiated by me. Brent seemed surprised about the terrible condition and Bob's would investigate the adhesive, installation and talk to the manufacturer who of course denied any liability. I called AGAIN and Brent made another appointment but did not actually show. Another person some kind of an inspector came but again I heard nothing. I called and again and Brent advised it was out of hands and now with hands of claims who would contact me that same day or the day after which of course never happened. I called once again and Brent told me the claim was denied. To be fair I do have to say that this product was installed sometime ago about 6 years but supposedly still under warrantee. Up until the floor failing I was very happy with the product and went on to do another room and a complete hallway which I expect will fail in a couple of years. Some of those planks are already coming up but based on experience I know if they come out they will say the damage isn't bad enough and I should wait until it's worse but of course then they will say it's too late. When Brent was here initially, he was surprised that the same product was put on my screened Lanai. When we made the original purchase I was told by the salesman Bob that this was fine for the Lanai. When Brent questioned him on this he said that's what the manufacturer had told him. So here I am 70 years old with an extremely lll husband dealing with this on my own. My husband is a fully disabled Vietnam combat vet who suffered a devastating stroke and I care for him so replacing all this product is financially impossible for us. I made it very clear that I would be willing to negotiate something Bob's but again, silence. I did not purchase this from the adhesive maker, installer or manufacturer. I purchased through Bob's Flooring who should have stepped up instead of just denying everything with no explanation.
