This is our 3rd time hiring Christopher for a project at our house. I wrote a review for his first project but did not for the 2nd or most recent, so I'm including both of those here! Most recently, he came to reinstall our new LVP on our 2nd floor. We (mistakenly) hired a different company to install the LVP (I didn't know Christopher did LVP as well!) and that company installed it at an angle. It looked terrible! Christopher came and very carefully uninstalled the LVP and baseboards to save as many boards as possible. He cleaned up the subfloor and added self-leveler, feathering it out to make it correct. He reinstalled it beautifully - and straight! As expected, he was detailed oriented and put in extra time to make sure it was done right. He even straightened up an angled wall which was bowed to ensure the baseboard sat flush. I also included photos from the bathroom he did for us in early 2024. He laid floor tile, wall tile, shower floor tile, added a niche in the shower, installed the tub and tub faucet! It all looks perfect and is still in great shape 2 years later! Not only is Christopher the best at what he does but I also feel comfortable having him in our home, even if we are not there. I wanted to have tile installed on my front patio. When I started planning the project, I didn't realize that laying tile was as complex as it was, and how important certain details are if you want the tile to look good. Christopher from Centennial Tile Installations helped educate me about some of these things. He knew where using bullnose tile would look good, and discussed with me what color grout to select. He spent a lot of time preparing the outdoor painted surface so that the tiles would stick properly. He also spent a lot of time measuring and double-checking the measurements. After having the kitchen remodeled in our 100 year old cottage two years ago, we knew the floor would be the next project. In keeping with the era of the house, we chose a small black & white tile. We knew the most important part of having a floor tiled is finding the right tiler. After doing some research, we found Christopher from Centennial Tile Installation who has a well earned 5 star rating. He turned out to be a treasure and a master of tile installation. Our little bungalow presents challenges due to uneven surfaces and walls that aren't perfectly square. Add to those challenges an old floor that had been glued down and had to be removed. The end result is the floor we had only imagined and we couldn't be happier. The tile is all perfectly aligned and level. After the tile was installed, Christopher went above and beyond to make sure the appliances were properly reinstalled, aligned and level, as well as replacing the trim. I own two houses in the Tampa area and have been using many contractors for numerous issues over the past 8 years and can tell you that 90% of them failed to live up to my high expectations and often did a passable job which generally required more work to be done after a year or so. Or were just useless in general and cost me thousands. I have been nice and not left bad reviews, but there'd be a lot if I did. Now in saying that, I haven't felt the need to write any good reviews either, until today. I had my shower pan leak into my walls and half my shower had to be ripped out and the walls cut open for mold removal. It was an absolute nightmare. The job to redo the tiling and redo the showed that was already half tiled was unique as it needed new tiles that were different to the prior work done and not a lot of companies I contacted had the stomach for. I took a chance on Christopher as he had recently moved to Tampa from Vegas and he came out and gave me a great quote. He did an absolutely outstanding job from start to finish in easily the most professional manner I have seen to date in Florida. From effective communication, extremely fair rates and most important of all - a good old fashioned sense of "doing it right the first time".. very thorough, hard working and friendly. Fixed multiple mistakes from previous contractors as well which wasn't asked for, but he did it without hesitation. Can't recommend him high enough! read more
