I ordered a full flight (one of each) and a couple of sausage rolls. These donuts are superb. Light and airy on the inside with the slightest crisp on the outside. They may be loaded with toppings but they still were not overly sweet, which I greatly appreciated. My favorite was the E.V. Simple. Spices and sugar. Just being the two of us we can't eat all 6 giant donuts at once, but they heated up nicely for 20 sec in the microwave. Delicious once more. Now, that sausage roll! OMG! Bursting with flavor. A little spicy. We like it, but be aware of you're not a fan of spicy. Perfectly cooked in puff pastry and topped with everything seasoning. The young woman who took my order was friendly and quick. I'll definitely back for more.

Come to find out they're stationed at Foolish so I made sure come check them out soon. Fast forward, here I am speaking on the sausage roll & maple bacon donut. The sausage roll isn't your average. It's like a whole Polish sausage for your personal needs sitting inside of a flaky everything bagel seasoned-like pastry. I'm quick to add mustard & there was no need, I'm glad I didn't end up using some. The donut sections gave me a hard time because all of them would be something I'd like to try then & there. Birthday Cake, Biscoff, Orange Dream... Those were a few of the selections that were available. I went with the maple bacon because I'll never pass up bacon. A real real big donut, nice & fluffy on the inside. The right amount of maple, the big piece of bacon was great. SSD is known for having all kinds of selections on rotation, on the regular. They're known for their collabs with local spots in the Downtown area as well. Them being up the street from me (well within walking distance) is going to be a problem, a good problem.

I went with the 8 Piece Nuggies & Fries combo with 2 sauces: Nuggie & Sticky Icky. I went with sweet potato fries instead of the curly. Super good, the blend of seasonings were sweet & salty and you get more than plenty of fries (you might be able to share with someone IF you ever wanted to). Just like there were plenty of fries, getting an order bigger than 8 nuggets would've had me stuffed. Looking at the nuggets, I had to count because it seemed like more than 8. They were a nice size & to my surprise, I had sauce left (I even dipped my fries) after I finished. Light & crispy, taste good without sauce (dill pickle brined for 24 hours). I really really liked the Sticky Icky, it's Asian inspired & has a slight sweet and sour taste to it. The Nuggie sauce is something I'll get as one of my sauces no matter what other sauce I get as my second. This spot is part of the Wellstown Brewing brewery downstairs. The gentleman who took my order was super nice & the wait on my food didn't take long at all. I gotta come back to try their chicken sandwich & their Doughnugs.

We split a slice of the passion fruit chocolate pie along with a couple of regular drip coffees. (Of course, we had to get some of the orange-chocolate chip cookies to go.) I liked the pie. Interesting flavors. The chocolate chips did not overpower the subtle passion fruit cream. It was served a bit haphazard though (but that's just me being picky). My biggest complaint was with the coffee and some of the service. I guess I will order an Americano or something next time because the drip coffee was luke warm at best. We were bussing our own table and one of the staff didn't even seem to know what to do with our dishes. Nobody was overly friendly. Maybe they were just prepping for the onslaught of First Friday-ers. Just off night perhaps.

The staff was super friendly and will definitely be back to try more of their pastries and especially their macaroons.
