Paradigm managed my property in Las Vegas.
Kayleigh (I have her emails) claimed she retained at $3000 damage deposit from my tenant.
I told Kayleigh to hold the damage deposit till i inspect my condo. Once I got to my condo immediately I noticed all my brand new flooring was scratched I called my flooring people, they said the damage is over 7K. My flooring was put in for this client.
Kaleigh denied any of this, & stood by a picture sent to me, the picture was at a far distance where one could not see the damage. I agree the picture looked great from a distance.
Next thing I knew by my fire place the tenants dog peed to the point the smell came into my dining room because the fire place is beside my dining room, i asked Kayleigh to have a professional clean the area, Kayleigh claimed there was no pee smell, yet the tenant has 2 dogs, I don't have any dogs, I had to pay professionals to have the area treated.
Kaleigh claimed she used part of the damage deposit to fix plumbing issues, when I called the plumber over, Nick told me there was no work done, however Nick showed me the work he did, which was warranted, Nick is the plumber Kayleigh uses. Kayleigh told me the work was done by a different plumber, yet no receipts to prove any of this were given to me.
For some reason when I asked for the code to the drop box at my condo, Kaleigh would not give me the code by email, or phone conversation, for some reason she made me come to her office to get the code, knowing I had to drive from Vancouver BC as a person with a permanent disability, this was not favorable to me.
Once I opened the door my key was stuck in the key hole, I asked the key person to come by, & fix it, of course he wanted to change me. I got the key person's phone # from Kayleigh. When I told Kayleigh about this, she claims the key box was vandalized, possibly by my father.
Kayleigh did mention possibly vandalism, a month or so prior. I suggested to call the police. Kayleigh was against calling police to protect my condo which is a gated community, after I spoke with neighbors, HOA who do walk arounds they claimed nothing has happened to anybody's property.
I did put my condo up for sale while the tenant was still occupying my condo. The only offers I received were from the same people on 2 occasions. Which was $10,000 up front, $1,000 for 10 years, then the remaining being paid after 10 years. Lenny said he worked with the buyer in the past. Of course I refused this terrible offer.
When I went to get my keys from Kayleigh I told Kayleigh its ok Paradigm didn't get any offers other than the 2 terrible offers, then Kayleigh said with a proud bright smile "there were many offers." I said "Kayleigh its ok, there is a global slow down on buyers." Again Kayleigh stuck to her guns. When I asked my neighbors, they claimed nobody came by, nor nobody in my gated community saw any buyers come by.
Since my place didn't sell, I built up enough courage to have my place rented out again. When someone came by to rent it out, Kaleigh said my place smelt like mold, the quotes Kayleigh got me was 8K-18K. I decided to ask my handy man to check it out, my handy man said there is zero odors. Btw the pee oder was a faint odor that came & went as I sat in the dining area, so that oder was not detected by anyone, until I discovered it. Next thing Kayleigh didn't agree with my handy man, that's when I decided enough is enough, I'm coming from Canada to fugure out what is going on.
When I opened my condo my caregiver was with me, I told her to smell for the odor Kaleigh was talking about, sure enough neither of us detected any odor Kayleigh was referring to, which was a huge relief.
What was also noticed my band new microwave was damaged, my oven was dirty, black all over it (i have pictures of my caregiver cleaning the dirty oven.) Turns out the 3K that Kayleigh retained from my tenant, nothing was used for damages, that were paid from my pocket, damages Kaleigh detected were taken from the damage deposit, yet i didn't see a receipt for any of her claims other than a bill someone cleaned things.
Furthermore, before I rented my place out Kayleigh recommended I use Jason Page their handy man (who is currently being served by my attorney) who over charged me for work, which included things Jason claimed he repaired but nothing was repaired, my attorney came by to visually verify this.
Kaleigh also said she put my tenant into their collection agency for over 14K owed. Since I don't trust Paradigm I asked for permission to have access to the progress,, Kaleigh suggested to transfer everything over to me, when I did, Paradigm's collection agency didn't have any case filed, dispite Kaleigh giving me a claim # that their collection agency is unaware of, through difficulty I was not able to get it done, I suggested Lenny do it again to have both of us on file, this would have satisfy me, dispite all that went wrong. Lenny's wants to sue/cease order against me read more
