As for the dentistry, Dr. Saggar was great. My appointment was quick and to the point. The equipment was really cool- something my prior dentistry did not have. It made my cleaning very quick and pain-free. I appreciated sitting down with Dr. Saggar after my appointment to review what he saw and thought. Taylor at the front desk was so sweet! She was super helpful in making sure my insurance would be covered and assuring that it was all taken care of when I came in. As for dermatology, Dr. Banker was great. She was so thorough! And she really understood my concerns, and she helped to re-instill my confidence that we will be able to treat my acne and scarring. She also works with a small, local pharmacy to help get prescriptions covered that insurance doesn't cover! This was extremely helpful and a really nice service. The girls at the front desk were also very sweet and personable! Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to go to Cloudlake!

Dr Mohr is in my opinion, one of the best dentists on Long Island. I wouldn't go anywhere else! His…read morestaff is incredible as well. I have been going to him for many years. Initially, he saved my teeth when I had problems from a former dentist. In 2012, I was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) which caused my teeth to decay due to the effects of two bone marrow transplants resulting in Graph Versus Host disease (GVHD). He coordinated his care with an Oral Pathologist & Oral Surgeon to determine if I could undergo implants. I've had seven implants which took a year to complete. I now have a full set of teeth again. He and his staff are so caring and the quality of what he did could not be any better. His treatment plan was amazing with a computer picture detailing every process for a year. He also arranged a financial plan to ease that burden. I would not hesitate to recommend him. If you want the best care, you will get it from him and his staff!

In reality, it functioned as a bill -- full payment required before any work began. Four months later, after already paying in full, I was suddenly presented with a second treatment plan demanding substantial additional money. This was never clearly disclosed at the start. There was no transparency about total cost, sequencing, or expectations. At this point, I have paid thousands of dollars and do not have the implant I initially sought. There was no professional, sit-down consultation explaining the process from start to finish, and no financial consultation to walk through costs. Instead, Dr. Ludwig communicates sporadically while you're already in the treatment chair, which is not an appropriate or professional way to explain complex oral surgery or financial obligations. The office seems to expect patients to somehow already have a deep understanding of oral surgery -- yet they are very enthusiastic about taking payment. The entire experience felt shady, disorganized, and misleading. I would strongly urge prospective patients to ask for everything in writing and proceed with caution.
