We saw both doctors and were very impressed by both of them. The staff is amazing, the front desk could not be more helpful. They went through every question we had, and took time to sit down and meet with us before we started care to discuss everything from financial options to their recommendations on treatment. The doctors were operating two offices, one in Omaha and one in Papillion, about a month ago we received notice that Dr. Hawley would focus on the Papillion office and it would change names to Hawley Orthodontics, and that Dr. Igel would focus on the Omaha clinic. We had no reservations about this at all, as both doctors are top notch. The transition has been seamless. Dr. Hawley is awesome. Bonus things that must be noted! This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I've ever had with any medical…read moreoffice. I was given an estimate around $600 for my visit in April, only to be hit with a shocking $2,500 bill afterwards which was received in late June. Since July, I've been trying to get answers, and instead I have been met with rudeness, avoidance, and zero accountability from the front office. I repeatedly asked to speak with the doctor and was told he "does not talk on the phone with patients." At my follow up cleaning in September, I confronted him directly about the ongoing billing issues and the dismissive treatment I'd been getting. He told me, "We will get this taken care of," and took every document I brought - the estimate, the bills, phone logs - everything. I finally thought someone was taking this seriously. Instead, nothing changed. A few weeks later, I received the exact same $2,500 bill with no explanation, no update, nothing. When I called again, a staff member offered a payment plan but then told me the amount I could actually afford was not accepted by the doctor - he needed double the monthly payment. When I asked for time to figure things out, communication suddenly stopped. My calls were not returned, my messages were ignored, and even my email received no response. I was calling weekly with no progress. Today, after months of trying to resolve this with the office directly, I found out they sent my bill to collections without notifying me. After everything, this was how they chose to handle it. I have never dealt with such poor communication, lack of follow- through, and disregard for patient's concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to anyone.

After getting a second opinion from two dentists, AND their in-house periodontist, my initial…read moreassessment was correct. These people either have no idea what they are doing, or they are scamming people at the cost of their teeth and/or insurance. Always start non-invasive, & non-surgical. They didn't do what they should have done, and wanted to jump straight into surgery. Way to much, when a simple cleaning fixed my issue. I'm actually glad they refused to do my cleaning, there's no telling what damage they would have caused. To sum it up, my second exam revealed my dental issue is no where near as bad as they made it out to be. They had me worried for nothing. There were a lot of red flags, and I'm glad I trusted my gut. I do not recommend.
